Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Here is my 2011 Ram 2500 Power Wagon we have almost finished...
I installed a mix match of a 6" (front) and 8" (rear) Zone Offroad lift w/ front and rear Fox Shocks, Zone Power Wagon sway bar link kit, BDS dual steering wheel stabilizer kit (upgraded shocks), dual exhaust system with Ram Sport rear bumper, AMP Research running boards, 37x13.50-20 Toyo Open Country M/T's with 20x9 XD Rockstar II rims, Spyder CCFL Halo Head Lights and L.E.D. Tail Lights, Recon Smoked Cab Lights and 3rd Brake Light, black grille, Stampede Trail Riderz Fender Flares... I then Rhino Lined the front & rear bumper, grille, and fender flares and painted the star red in the center caps of the wheels.
I still have a N-Fab front and rear pre-runner bar to install with a 30" E-Series Rigid light bar for the front and Rigid Dually D2's for the rear. The rear pre-runner bar interferes with the back up sensors, so we are just trying to figure out a work around...
I have had a few guys ask "how does it ride?"... To be completely honest it drives a million times better but... I have yet to take it offroading or on the highway. Around the city, before the lift, I felt like I was in a blender... I felt every little bump in the road, now its so much smoother...

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Here's my back storage area seat removed. It's just me, wife, dogs now, so the back seat isn't needed. There is an upper and lower section. I have a sheet of aircraft honeycomb floor board 2x5 feet supported by a cargo net. When the dogs come they ride up there and below I have my Power Tank-Recovery gear-6.5 gal extra water and a lot more gear. Water is what limits the amount of days I can boondock in my camper. With the 22gal tank in the camper and the extra 6.5gal can I can go about 5 days if the wife is along. a bit longer by my self.

I have a similar idea but not real happy with the materials I'm finding to work with. Sounds to me like you may have figured it all out already. Is there a way to do it with the seat still there just not folded down?
Yes you are loaded up to the top for sure.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Here is the honeycomb. It's about 1/2" thick very light and stiff. The cargo net help support it and also keeps the dogs from landing in the front seat in a panic stop. As far as leaving the back seat in, I'm sure you could engineer something similar.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
Where would one find that honeycomb board? I'm thinking an aircraft grave yard. I just happen to have one just down the block next to DM air base. What would be a good source? That's a great idea and I could glue some carpet to it for the dogs comfort. The net is a great idea too, I have one for the bed that I don't even use now with the tonneau cover I got.
How are you attaching the net at the top?

D-rings on rear pass grab handles and head rests with a bunji cord weaved through the net to hold it up in the middle so it's in position to catch the dogs-on the rear of the net d-rings attached to the bulk head using existing stuff from the seats and belts....I got the honeycomb out of the dumpster outside the floor board shop at my job(united airlines). The aircraft yard would be a good place to look for lots of stuff. You can click on the photos to enlarge to see better.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
SOOOO... after Saturday's wheeling, I don't think I wanna go out again until I get my lift and tires on- I had lots of belly scraping culminating in this stuck! I opted to go over a rock that was a little too tall, in probably the easiest section of the whole trail, lol!
Doesn't look too bad at first glance:

But, it IS!!! All the weight of the truck is on the skidplates! (glad they're beefy!) You could actually push down on the front and rear bumpers and move the truck like a see-saw!:

As you can see, the passenger rear tire is dangling above the ground:

As is the driver's front tire:

You'd think two tires off the ground isn't a big deal since it's locked front and rear BUT, when the remaining two tires are barely touching the ground, there's not much traction to be had! I just sat there spinning all four tires! Had to pull cable to get off the rock! Here's the scrapes I left behind, DOH!!!:

That makes two trips in a row where I got stuck on something where I wouldn't have been stuck if I had my tires and lift on!

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
LOL!
Well, I haven't put them on yet because I'd have to do a bunch of extra cutting to fit them stock vs after I do the lift. I think I am going to get one mounted to the spare wheel I bought and mount it to the truck to see how it looks with the 37s on stock wheels, and to see how bad it'll rub the control arms, though I will be going with Carli arms and they add a bit more clearance, I'll still get a good idea with my stock arms. (to judge whether I want aftermarket wheels or not) I want them on there too!!! If they'd fit stock, I'd have put them on months ago!!!
