Raptor Killer?

Post by Ducky's Dad » Fri May 25, 2012 12:23 am

For those of you who watch Power Block on Spike, they mentioned last week that Extreme 4x4 would be building a "Raptor Killer" for far less than the cost of a Raptor. I'm assuming they will use an F-150 as their base vehicle, but there may still be ideas we can borrow for the PW. I think the first build episode will be next Saturday (first Saturday in June). I probably won't have access to a TV or a recorder, but someone on here should watch it and report back.

I'm spending a lot of time around Temecula CA these days as I try to get our house ready to move into. Lots of flat billers in the area and lots of Rapturds driving around town. I'm the only PW so far.

"'flat billers' haves said black socks as well,"

Yes, they do. But they do not have Power Wagon embroidered winch straps with loops. And neither do I. Any news on those suckers?

I happen to have 10 of them finished up and ready to ship as well as another 18 in assembly stage and 60 or 70 with embroidery on them waiting for assembly. That's the details as of now.

So check out this eight page discussion on Power Wagon vrs raptor (from Expedition Portal). I pretty much killed the discussion with pics of mine and two other trucks doing real work.

At the end of the day it is all a matter of preference. My wife and I were driving around in the Power Wagon today and saw a Raptor and both said "what a stupid looking worthless truck". It is our opinion. I am sure he saw my truck and said "how excessive is that".

At the end of the day I love my truck and it can go anywhere and pretty much do anything I want it too. If a trail is too tight, that is why I carry a chainsaw :)

I just got back from a trip to Philadelphia (so my daughter could watch the US vs China Soccer match.) Today on the drive back, i saw 2 FREAKIN AWESOME PW's. BOTH OF EM WERE DOING WORK TOO !!! One was a totally restored MINT looking old white Dodge Power Wagon CarryAll pulling a trailer with a vehicle on it covered. The other was an old powder blue/faded Power Wagon pickup truck, also pulling, a dump trailer full of dirt. Both got off at exits before i could catch up with them for a closer look. That carryall was BA. Looked like it had about 37's or bigger on it. :notworthy:

Ford Raptor: The best car like riding truck for people who don't really need a truck & should have just bought a car. That is all.
