Went to Acoma Pueblo for the annual Tour de Acoma and ran into a guy with a 2011 PW from Grants, NM. Gave him the lowdown on the registry, forum and our annual PWiM trips. Seemed like a nice guy. Hope he drops in to say hi.

Now a days it seems like there are PW's around every corner in my town, especially 4G's. I haven't posted anything lately, but I did get a pic of this 4G parked by me when I came out of Wally World a couple days ago.

I'm up at Ft Lewis and I always see a 3G Blue PW. I give him the wave and he returns it. Hopefully he is on here so we can meet up and do some wheeling :winchmob:

I've only seen one 4th Gen PW in town and two 3rd Gen Power Wagons in town. Raptors are a different story- those things are everywhere. Can somebody tell me why I never see a dirty Raptor?

I refer to the Raptor as a “Pavement Princess.”

i have spotted a couple of PW's floating around other than my own. there is a Black 3g some place in Livermore i see it from time to time in one of the train stop parking lots. There is a white 3g up in redding we pass each other on occasion unfortunately i forget to wave and dont recall them waving either. as for the raptors yeah for such a pricy toy they are all over the place in Santa clara where i work. which just lends creedence to the "Pavement Princess" tag if any one is keeping a tally of rescued vehicles on ther trucks maybe the raptor rescued deserve a special color sticker. just a thought....

I bet they did it to eliminate the wicked axle hop we get, which is usually compounded by any lift. Also looks like the tbars say MOPAR on them, which means there is proof positive evidence, that they KNOW there is an issue.

It's an aftermarket lift kit slapped on a PW to get attention. Don't read more that in the video. It's only a tease.

OK so I finished my trek from CA to MS and then up to NJ and back to MS over the holidays and DID NOT SEE ONE powerwagon the whole time. I was kind of bummed. Oh well I didn't buy the truck for it to look like everyone else's but then last night I was going to the food store with the wife and I am at a light and head on to me was a ram with cab lights (so I look of course) and there it is .. the winch and low and behold another power wagon!! in the small town of Meridian MS ... nice!!!

I've never seen one around here before. But, if it's like my Jeep was, I'll see some soon! (Had never seen a modded Black JKUR around here until I'd had mine for about 8 months or so, and then it got to where on some days I'd see 3 in 5 minutes! I musta started a trend, LOL!) So, if that's an indication, the Dodge dealer near me better start stocking Power Wagons, LOL! (I had to drive around 40 minutes to find a dealer with one!)

I don't see any near me either. When i bought mine i had to drive about an hour away to get it. Only other 2 i've seen were when I bought my 2010 1500 there was one on the lot. Before that about 3 yrs before. I guess there isn't a high demand in the Cincinnati area haha

I see quite a few around my town, and up at the plant I work at. Most of them are 4th gens, but there are a few 3rd gens too. I see a silver 4th gen most days, he drives by my house when I get home from work. He has never put his hook on his winch line. I pass a lifted red 2005 most days on my way to & from work. He must work night shift at the gas plant near where I work.

We also have a black 2007 in our fleet of trucks. It would be mine, but I haul around 3000lbs of stuff with me for my work, so the soft suspension of the wagon wouldn't cut it.

SO :jawdrop: my wife and I pulled up to the Lowes last night to pick up some rubberized coating for my "Beach Pal" and what do we see in the parking  the elusive blue Power Wagon we have seen around town a few times over the last few years :P

Well, we take a few pics, and then get in "OX" to leave and the blue PW starts (Remote Start). So I look around to tell the guy he has a beast of a truck and if he wanted, we will be going to UHARRIE at the begining of April. WELL :o the guy picks up his phone and pretends like he is talking on it, jumps in his truck (NO LONGER A PW TO ME) and drives off without saying a word  He seen me, he knew I was there, well anyway he pulls into the loading dock, so as I was leaving I passed the loading dock and get his attention and tell him he has a great looking truck (maybe he has a serious case of tunnel vision and did not see me parked next to him). I was thinking that by starting the conversation he would want to talk.

SO, off topic for a minute:
You remember that one girl in high school that would give you the cold shoulder when you tried to talk to her because she thought she was all that ?

SO that brings us back to the original topic:
I start the conversation, so I think right :patriot: HELL NO, he looked at me and just pretty much said thanks and went right back to watching a man load his truck. He noticed I had a PW because I seen him look at my badges.

WITH THAT:
Now, look at the pics, I now know why he was acting like that  he has turned an offroad machine into a mall crawler :jawdrop:

SO you see, his man hood has been taken from him and the femanine side has taken over

Moral of this story:
DO not convert your awesomely build PW into a Mall Crawler or you will be feminized

Like I said before, I usually don't see any. PLenty of big Cummins, but no power wagons. That was until the other day. Last week me, my dad, and my wife were sitting at UDF waiting for something, and I saw one go through the intersection. Black 4g! I was so happy. I wish I was in my truck and not my wifes car. And I wish I were alone... I might have followed the guy to strike up a conversation.

This pic is a few months old and I don't remember if I had already posted it or not, but here it is anyway. Even though this is my buddy's 4G PW, I still consider it a sighting, as he has a company vehicle and I don't get to see his truck very often, especially next to mine. He has a leveling kit on his, with 35" BFG KM2's and a Smittybuilt M1 bumper. Maybe one of these days he'll join us on the forum.

Pulled out of the Dodge dealership a couple weeks ago after getting an oil change and had a blue 4th Gen with out of state plates pull in. Talked to the guy for a while. Seemed like he was looking for a different truck because of fuel economy. I get around 2 weeks out of each tank so I've never given mpg's much thought, but if you drive a lot I can see how it might be an issue.

I spotted a Mineral Gray 06-09 (not sure) RCLB in a shopping center parking lot in Carbondale, PA today. I circled the lot a few times to kill time and see if the owner appeared, but no luck. When I first saw it, the headlights were still on, so they had just got out of it. I will be there again tomorrow, so I'll keep my eyes open for it. I'll have my phone ready for pics this time!
