Say goodbye to the tactile feel of a manual transfer case floor shifter and say hello to more dash switches and electronics. :(

That sucks in my opinion...

But at least they have worked out most of the push button kinks in the other Ram models

Yeah I was hard pressed with the 2019 because they lost the transmission shifter in favor of a electric rotery knob.

I am not in favor ever of a electronic transfer case shifter for a vehicle you actually off-road.

I do not need an electronic nanny telling me when a good time to shift to 4wd is.

I have put up with the crazy parameters of the electronic lockers and learned how to work with them but having a computer tell me when I can go to 4wd is too far.

I just bought a new 2021 Power Wagon and it has the transfer case shifter in the floor...the electronic transfer case shifter is a $295 option.

Honestly, as long as there are no restrictions on its usage, I really don't have a problem with the use of push button. Everything else is so electrified with these trucks, I don't see adding another electronic function as a problem. I just wish they would allow for an easier manner of overriding lockers and sway controls.

A buddy of mine test drove an anniversaries edition yesterday and pretty sure he’s placing an order on tue. I was surprised when he told me there was no manual t-case lever anymore.

Well, my Sway Bar Disconnect never worked once because its not water proof. And I had to install a bi-pass for the front locker to function. Not sure how much worse this could be.
