06 PW Engine Tuning Questions

Howdy—I'm new to the Power Wagon world, just bought an 06 with 100K miles on it a few months ago and loving it so far. I upgraded to 35s, and have been wondering whether a tuner of some kind is worth getting to recalibrate the speedometer and fix the shift points for the larger tire size.
I know nothing about engine tuning, and am mostly concerned with reliability of the vehicle and not wanting to shorten the engine's lifespan or damage anything... But, some more power, a correct speedometer and better shifting sounds nice.
Any recommendations on a tuner for an 06, and is there any risk involved with running one?
