It is so odd to turning the locker switch and just have the lockers come on. Sure is annoying FCA wont address this 14 year old design flaw.
2018 Flame Red, Moon Roof, Dual Alternators, Ram Boxes sadly Ram ran out of, Luxo Package with 8.4 UConnect, Enter and Go with remote start, Auto Wipers and Lights. Added missing skids and White Knuckle sliders. 35" BFG KM3s. Procal and Warn wireless remote for winch.

Yea its rediculous. I completely understand their thought process about having all of the thresholds... they dont have a choice on that... but they could at least make the system function better.

Re: No lights in the Locker Knob.
I have owned a huge list of vehicles with a stock locking rear diff, Titan, 4 Runner, numerous Monteros, ect. And none had major issues going in. Monteros can be a little stubborn going out. All had nannies. So it does not have to be this way. But the locker over ride kit is absolutely fantastic.

Is it really a design flaw? Or an intentional annoyance?FordyceCreekTrail wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 4:30 pmIt is so odd to turning the locker switch and just have the lockers come on. Sure is annoying FCA wont address this 14 year old design flaw.
Either way, it's annoying.

Rusty, I got it figured out and sent you a PM. Your locker bypass will work with the factory dash knob and no SmartBar after I reconfigure it for you.

Re: No lights in the Locker Knob.
I call it a design flaw. I get we don't want folks locking diffs going down the highway or traveling at high speeds. But why is it the factory lockers on my Montero, Titan, and 4 Runner all lock with in a reasonable amount of time with the nannies? Its called a design flaw. Even the Rubicon ones work ok I hear....so come on, just fix it.BoldAdventure wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 10:04 amIs it really a design flaw?
