Rear Locker

My 2005 Power Wagon rear diff locker shorted out and fried [Insert burnt Electrical wires smell here] what are people doing replacing with factory locker [can you get replacement] or used locker, I was thinking AAM11.5 off a diesel truck regear 4:56 and Detroit Locker or Grizzly, any ideas.

Check w retired BLM rig,,,,part is pretty scarce but he might have some ideas. He helped me when I was having that problem a +/- couple of years ago

Steve White Motors shows one in stock. You would need to confirm with them, everyone else shows discontinued. :cry:
Here's a complete used rear axle assembly on Ebay.
I can build a bypass system that will completely replace all of the rest of the electrical and still use the factory switch to control the lockers.

In parts for sale recently Redman sold his wrecked 2005 for parts & before sale had noted the front & rear axles were good,,,might be able to find out who bought it & see if they’d be willing to sell that part assuming it wasn’t damaged. But can’t go wrong w “Retired’s “ Able products. He knows our wagons & these issues very well & won’t steer you wrong. Good luck!
