Radiator Fan not turning off

Post by dclaspill » Sat May 23, 2020 7:15 am

So i'm having a strange issue on my 2014 power wagon, my electric radiator fan wont shut off. And I don't mean it runs for a while after turning the truck off and then shuts off. I mean it will stay running for Hours and the only way I have found to get it to turn off is by pulling the Fuse. I don't like doing that because I live in South East Texas and them temps here get pretty high. I started doing some digging around and it looks like there is 2 temp sensors on these truck, one on the pump(which I assume is for the gauge on the dash) and another one on the thermostat housing. I was thinking that maybe that one went bad and the computer is keeping the fan on because it is not receiving a good signal from that sensor. If anyone on here can confirm this for me or help me figure this out I would be grateful.
