Hi, need help

Will this work on new model PW to correct the speedo and shift points? I’ve read some confusing posts regarding a bypass for newer trucks?

Thanks for any help. Excited to be a new member of the forum!

I have not seen a programmer that will work with the 19+ trucks yet. You would definitely need the security bypass cable. I wrote up a thread on where to find it. Will try to locate the thread and post it here.

The programmer I reference can help to change the speedo.

I also got the security bypass cable for the AlphOBD so I could enable a few features on the truck.

So the correct location for the new PW bypass should be in front of your knee and not behind the gauge cluster or radio correct? Sorry for all the questions. pdavey, the kaodtech bypass looks simple enough to use a Hypertech, Tazer, etc to correct for tire size.

The AEV procal snap seems to have an easy install, but there were issues with some PWs, but some were just fine... supposedly they are going to correct it and rereleased for PWs.

I’ll get to reading/researching. Thanks everyone!

Yes if you get the koadtech or aev it is the green bus bar near your knee. If you need to do a bypass it is behind the instrument cluster.
