Hello everyone,
I’m a new owner of a 2018 Mojave Sand edition.
This is my first full size truck coming from a Unlimited Rubicon.
This truck at stock height sits higher then my lifted Wrangler with 35’s.
I’m old and fat so I’m looking at getting some power steps and would like to replace the tires with 315 80 17 tires if they will fit without a lift on my rims.
I’m looking forward to learning my about this truck on this forum.
Thank you.

I'm pretty new here, but welcome.
I just put some 37x12.5x17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my stock PW. I mounted them on the 17x8 Katla wheels. After trimming a small piece of plastic and a few zip ties to pull the wheel well plastic back, rubbing on inside the wheel well is resolved (for normal driving conditions). At full lock, I think the tires are still hitting the sway bar (they're definitely hitting something, just haven't fully investigated yet).

Old and fat
Good luck finding a 315/80/17, Ive never seen such a size. However, a 37x12.5/17 is basically the same size and is readily available.

I actually meant to say 315 70 17 tire and was wondering if it will fit in the pair tire spot?

Many do fit. Its definitely a tight fit, though.
