I plan to keep it stock for the most part, with some minor additions such as rhino lining the wheel wells to prevent the quarter panels from rotting, synthetic winch rope, tonneau cover, etc. Also needs a few small things, like new hood dampers, new front diff pinion seal, etc.
Already tried it out this weekend at a nearby ORV park and this thing conquered everything that was in its way (and I recovered a Jeep that tried to follow me).
One question: does anyone know where the pcv is located on this thing? Usually on most cars they are easy to trace and locate but I've had crap for luck so far. Hope to learn more about these awesome trucks!

Welcome!
What part of michigan are you located? What off road park did you go to?

B.S. It's there. It's integrated in the intake manifold, in the back on the passenger side. It's a bitch to get to and even more so to remove if it's a factory one as the "O" ring makes it difficult to twist it out. When I get a chance I'll snap a few pics of it. FWI, it's not cheap.
This is exactly what I found when I did some research on it - some say it exists, some say it does not. Looking forward to seeing pictures of this ghost pcv!

Why do I have a hunch that you'll get your money out of the factory winch?

Stuck! Damn that can't be your first post. Remember Pw's are built out of unobtainium & are unable to be stopped or stuck. It must be defective-- demand a refund!

It is blue in this photo. Similar to your 2006 I believe, but not blue.
Be sure to lube the o-rings with silicone lube like Dow Corning 111 (it is not silicone sealant as it never dries, it is a lubricant)
It may be tough to remove if it was put in dry by the last person to service it.

Welcome SAMMER!
Yes, keep an eye on the get together forums indeed, as well as the slider/bumper topic started by NTS, as we're working on getting some well made gear made up for our trucks that won't cost us like 1200$
Can't wait to meet you and teach you about the beauty machine you got.
I did the same with my truck, walked into the dealership looking for a CTD salesmen told me about a wagon they just sold.
Turns out they had not sold it yet, I didn't even drive, just said its sold now, and did the paper work lol!

Hey everyone, been a member of the Registry for several years, didn't realize the Forum required a different login (need to pay more attention).
I have a 2005 bought new in July 2005. Been trouble free for the most part. Don't go off road as much as I would like, mostly snow.
My job keeps me real busy, so my weekends are limited to doing everything I can't get done during the week.
After 105,000 miles, it's starting to show it's age, but I'm keeping it no matter what.
I'll be posting some issues I'm having and hopefully finding some easy solutions.
