Hi all,
I just picked up a 2005 Red Power Wagon with 77K miles and so far in just 2 days of ownership I have been asked 3 times if its a 2015 new Dodge..... I guess its new like condition helps in that regard.

I want to off road it as much as possible and just need Rock Sliders preferably around $500 buck. Very hard to find sliders for these online. Heck, all I find are $800~$1000 sliders :jawdrop: I guess since I been used to Jeep Wranglers those prices seem out right unrealistic.

Very nice! Where are you located? Might have a set of sliders. ;)

Welcome to the forum. Sliders for our trucks are $$. The factory rock rails are no longer made.

Thank you all.

I found a local shop here in North California that will fabricate and weld some custom rock sliders. Painted and installed for $650 and will go past the back doors into the tub to protect the bed too. I am definitely going that route as it seems I will not find anything cheaper.

I live close to Hollister Hills Off Road Park too, so plenty of obstacle courses and trails to test this new rig out

Hey ya'll
I'm GW in bossier city LA.
After owning MANY trux thru the years I have finally gotten my dream truck... the perfect truck...the greatest amalgamation of mechanical wizardry ever put to paper then onto an assembly line.I got my 2015 Power Wagon over the weekend and I couldn't be prouder.usually I want and NEED 2 modify this.lift that.stick a decal here and there but this truck will remain cherry forever. It has everything I would do already there. Sure gas will perhaps be an issue but I'm a real homebody and average maybe 4 to 5000 miles per year. The only thing I'm thinking of at this point is maybe some glaspaks (unless I see a better idea here on the forum...and maybe a small lift... well I probably should get some steps or sliders........

Hello all

Newbie here to the power wagon family but have had many dodge rams in the past. Just bought a 2011 power wagon that used to belong to a member of this group. Very nice guy and helpfull to my questions on the truck. It is a prior salvage truck I thought I got a good deal on but looks as if I need to buy some beefier front suspension parts.

So far I am happy with the truck and it pulls my Jeep behind it with no problems and actually gets better fuel mileage then my 96 with the V10. hoping to learn some of the ins and outs from all you Power Wagon guys. What to buy and what to stay away from.

I've been a lurker on this site and now finally a member, great site. I bought my 06 PW from Alberta, where there are alot of PW's, 3 years ago with 315 k . It now has 428km(266miles) and still going strong. Previous owner was original owner and said engine and tranny never rebuilt. Both still going strong. I was bragging to my friends when it hit 400km how good this truck is. Then, a week later, fuel pump went. Put a crappy Chinese spectre one in that lasted 4 months, now put in a mopar, lessened learned.
I put on a 1" lift and 315 duratracs, Yukon hub kit, super chips, throttle body and some other stuff. It's loaded with leather, sunroof...... As much as I like it, keep looking at newer ones, one day.
Also have a 72 bronco I restored, supposed to wheel in it but use the Wagon more.

New to the forum, I recently got out of the Cummins game and purchased a 2015 Tradesman Power Wagon, do not regret the decision one bit. I have already installed Carli Suspension front track bar, steering stabilizer, drop brackets, and rear swaybar links. Waiting patiently for the Hemi specific coils from Carli Suspension and a shock package. With the above mentioned mods I have added 37 inch Goodyear MTR's, but without the addition lift I am experiencing rubbing issues, but damn it looks killer.

Hello all, new guy from NM here. I've had my 2014 Power Wagon for over a year now and its a great truck. Nothing but positive things to say about it and love the compliments it gets everywhere I take it. So far I've just swapped a K&N filter into it and installed the magnaflow exhaust system. Wondering if we will ever get a legit tuner for the 6.4 although it seems to have more than enough power already....but who doesn't want more.

if you want more jam maybe time to think about gear options! More money then a tuner but reduce load on the motor and make burning tires a lot easier!

Just picked up a 15 laramie PW this weekend. Im here in Houston, came out of a f250 powerstroke. I think that I won't be buying another diesel. really like this 6.4 HEMI it dose use a little more fuel but that OK. I did purchase the life time ram warranty. Its hard to believe that they offer something like that. Well glad to have found this site. :patriot:

Hi everyone. I'm moving over from the Jeep crowd. I've owned several Jeeps, and have done a 6.4 Hemi swap, and Dana 60 swaps. I've also owned several Dodge trucks. This time, when it was time for a new vehicle I decided to get one that already had the 6.4, big axles, and lockers. So I ordered a 2016 Laramie Power Wagon. Hope to have the truck in a few more weeks. I'll be exploring the southwest desert with the truck, and hope to see some of you out on the trail.
