Hello everybody.
A big thank you to whoever started this forum. I've been a contributing member of a couple of Jeep JK forums and they are really helpful.

My screen name comes from my Lidless(or topless) 2007 Wrangler X

I'm from Baltimore Maryland where there is absolutely nowhere to 'wheel . Assateague Island is about two hours away and Raush Creek in Pennsylvania is about three and a half hours away.

My love for the Power Wagons comes somewhere from two old TV shows. "Simon & Simon" and "The Fall Guy" even if the truck Lee Majors drove in the show was a GM product.

The truck I bought is a 2016 Power Wagon Laramie and boy do I love this truck. (last truck was a '95 !500 Chevy 4X2) I guess you could say I upgraded from a cassette deck and a 4.3L V6 LOL. I sold my Jeep and my truck to get this Power Wagon.

So far I have completely de-badged the sides of the truck, and partially de-badged the rear. (removed the Laramie and the 4X4), had the bed Line-Xed, and added the Mopar slush mats.

I'm scheduled to have the Amp Research steps installed in a few days and I have BakFlip F1 bed cover on order.

I'm planning on replacing my 33" Duratracs with 35" Duratracs( no lift if I can help it),adding the Amp Research Bedstep,and doing something with the exhaust( I absolutely HATE the way the muffler or resonator looks in the wheel well)

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Also for the invite to RC. I'm still in that "don't get near my new truck" mode so Raush Creek might have to come later LOL.

Hey everyone, new member here. I just picked up a 2015 Powerwagon Larmie this week. We just upgraded from a1500 Laramie 4x4 that I had put a few mild upgrades on. We are full time travelers with our two children in our Airstream.





A little backstory, the wife and I meet off-roading before getting married. Back in 2012 we built our own expo rig, out of an unusual platform. 2003 Trailblazer.

We took it out west to Moab and really fell in love with the American west.





We kept upgrading and working on it. When we found out we were expecting our first child we made the goal of traveling full-time and not just as a hobby or something we did on vacation. So we spent a year selling everything and moving out of our house. Used the money to buy and Airstream and a 1500 Ram.

It was tough giving up our "Adventure Mobile" but I added a mild 2 inch lift to the 1500 and slightly larger tires for some off-roadability. The compromise between towing and off-roading.

We've been full timing for a year now and we just wanted to build another expo rig. And we have no desire to switch to a class A. So I decided the Powerwagon would be the best fit for our needs.

That and looking at endless photos of the AEV Ram kind of made up my mind, even though they mostly use the diesel as a base truck.

Anyhow, already making plans for the new truck.

I had a 35ft Outback. Then switch to a 36ft V10 Class A. Now in a 41ft diesel pusher Class A. Wife wants to go fulltiming. But I like my sticks and bricks.

Just purchased our 2016 Power Wagon yesterday. Very pleased so far. We live in Shady Cove,Oregon bought my first Power Wagon back in 74 but been driving a Toyota Tundra the last 9 years. We also have a 2014 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon ( wifes driver )

How's it going everyone? I'm hoping it's ok to lurk your forum to help make up my mind.

I am looking at making a purchase of a '16 SLT PW. I'm coming from a '12 Raptor Super Crew.

Anyone else here make the change from Ferd to Ram? Your thoughts? I've only had experiences with Ford and Toyota in the past.
