16 Prospector from AZ

Post by 16ProspectorWagonAZ » Tue Aug 26, 2025 6:30 pm

Greetings from Arizona. Just picked up a new to me ‘16 Power Wagon AEV Prospector. I’ve been a big fan of the Power Wagons for a long time and when they reintroduced them I’ve always had it in my mind that I wanted one.

After looking at some sub par ex-govt service Wagons and seeing what my money would get me, we upped the budget and ended up with a nice one owner Prospector

My wife has dubbed the truck Big Red, and I’m looking forward to the adventures to come

A little more on the plans, we are currently in the middle of building on some acreage so the really fun plans for the truck will have to be down the road. A short list of things I want to do

-Thuren rear links
-Thuren springs, want another 1.5” in the front
-Boogie Bumps
-3.0 shocks
-Dodge Off Road long arms
-4.88 gears

There are more smaller things, but that paints the picture of the goals.

For now I get to dream and plan

Welcome to the forum.

Stay away from Dodge Offroad. They will take your money and you will get nothing back. They have robbed a few people on here.

Does anybody else offer a similar setup to their long arms? I like the design idea there?
