Greetings from a new 2018 Power Wagon owner

Hey everyone!

I've been interested in purchasing an off road vehicle, specifically a Wrangler or a Power Wagon for a while now. After extensive research and driving my buddy's modified JK Unlimited, I settled on the Power Wagon. Originally I wanted to purchase a Power Wagon Tradesman but after I saw the Mojave Sand paint option and decided to go for it.

I've never owned an SUV or truck before so going from a Ford Focus to driving this is quite a change. So far, I love the high driving position, but I'm a pretty short guy at 5'7" so it's quite a hop into the cab with no running boards / steps.

About to take a ~1,000 mile mostly freeway road trip this weekend to help a friend move so we'll see what kind of gas mileage I get...I don't have a lead foot so I'll hope for ~13 MPG.

So far with ~250 miles on the truck, I don't have any complaints, except for some minor suspension squeaking over rough roads (which my buddies tell me is normal).

No major modifications planned, just a couple things:

Line X Premium bed liner
Side steps / rock rails - If anyone knows any good brands here which don't require drilling and bolt up to factory mount points, please advise!
Seat covers
Front window / windshield clear tint

On long road trips 16MPG is achievable.

2018 Flame Red, Moon Roof, Dual Alternators, Ram Boxes sadly Ram ran out of, Luxo Package with 8.4 UConnect, Enter and Go with remote start, Auto Wipers and Lights. Added missing skids and White Knuckle sliders. 35" BFG KM3s. Procal and Warn wireless remote for winch.

Hello, welcome congrats o the new PW you made a great choice.

I don't know if I agree that suspension squeaks are normal on a new truck, it would not hurt to have the dealer check it out might be something loose.

When my truck was new I had a similar problem turned out the rear shocks needed to be tightened up a little, problem solved.
