Your overhead mileage reading

What does yours say for avg mileage? I am at 12.4 and I am both city and hwy driving. It stays right around that.

Mine reads between 9-10 mpg, which is EXACTLY what i get hand calculated. A lot of folks say they are very inaccurate, mine have been dead on in last 3 trucks. 00' Dakota QC 4x4 w/5.9 gas & 3.92, 04' 2500 QC w/Hemi auto trans & 4.10's & my 08' QC Power Wagon.

With a 35" tire, it's off about the same as the speedo - 5%. I really don't like watching it...
I'm just along for the ride...

Mine is sitting around 11.8 plus 4% for the 35's so 12.3'ish but that's mostly highway doing 65mph. I've hand calculated a few times and always comes out within 5% of what the overhead says.

Mine shows 9.8 and it's dead-on, based on hand calcs for a 1000 mile trip with correction for 35" tires. Mine is mostly highway use with short bursts of off-road activity at the destination.

I haven't checked the Wagon yet, but I just wanted to add that my V10 gets 9.3 mpg. They killed the V10 for the Hemi, supposedly for better MPG. Lol.

Mine is very accurate as well but goes up and down. Currently reads 12.7 (or 13.3 adjusted for 35's) at about 2300 miles. Good chunk hwy and some off-road.

What's your best tank mileage? Best I've got was 482 on just under 33 gallons if I'm not mistaken. Yeah it was pretty low. 14.6 mpg. It was on stock size tires.

I run synthetics in the axles and motor, and I never drive over 63 mph when on the hwy. I guess that is why mine is at 12.4. On the hwy I think I have seen it around 17. Oh and I run the factory size tires,
they are road tires not off road.

I get 12 to 12.5 and last I hand calc'd it was pretty accurate. I do a lot of highway driving so that helps. I get better mileage in my PW than my old 4.7 Ram.

I average pretty close to 12mpg with my 4th Gen, which I'm pretty sure is heavier in stock form than a stock 3rd Gen. Maybe the new 6spd Auto is helping (I'm not sure about that).

avg about 8.9-9.2, the high altitude and steep road grades around here certainly don't help
