Anyone know what this is?

Hey old-timers:

I was looking under the steering column of my new ‘24 PW , what a rats nest of wires, damn. Anyway, I noticed this very not-factory looking connector harness under there right up front, hanging low enough it hits my leg. I think it’s a dealer installed GPS theft tracking device. Notice the uncut zip tie, local fuse, and twisted wires. Obviously not factory, any ideas & suggestions?

So it is a GPS tracker. F’ng dealer didn’t disclose it. Their sales paperwork doesn’t mention it, nor did they offer me the option to keep it/ pay for the recovery service, or remove it. I found this guy online that found the same one in his Toyota after the battery kept dying. He really got offended, confronted the dealer, hired a lawyer, and eventually sued the dealer.

Dealers have been installing the trackers for a while. On the Gladiator forum. Someone about once a month posts about finding one under the dash.
