Been a little busy.

"I quit my desk job for this." Couple guys asked me about my history, how I got here. From an office job, to a snowmobile avalanche educator, tower climber sprinkled in, and here I am.

Even spent some time in the captain's chair this round.
Image

Tuesday's half-day trek we poked down into the other side of this road. Wednesday we came at it from this side, I was in the lead cat.
Student driver looked at me like "We're going this way?" Hell yeah! Let's use that blade in front of us to build ourselves a road.
Coached him through that, made it through after about 30 minutes of blade work.

Thursday we came through here again. The two cats behind us wednesday bladed out a few spots and did a good job. We made a pretty nice road. :mrgreen:

Flight was a little bumpy with weather on each side.

Headed to the shop after I landed... unloaded one truck, loaded up mine, and got home late that evening. :excited:
Laundry and loading the truck/sled up tonight, headed to southwestern Colorado for another week of snowcats. Snowcat Jamboree in Vail next weekend (conveniently on my route home), so I'll jump on the sled for that since I don't have a snowcat yet. :cash:

yeah it's not too bad.
PW made it the 8hr drive, no issues. Nice to have the laptop stand, radio, stereo, etc back.

Got into Ouray a little later than I wanted, but not terribly late.

I took the walkaround/inspection talk on the Tucker, cat I"m most comfortable with of the two we had. Worked through a track-off, and reinstall the track. Good things to know should it come off in the mountains.

Spent the day in the Scout, not a machine I have a lot of experience in but similar to the LMC's. Little joystick-operated hydrostatic drive 2-track.
