For those with 2019 Plus Reliability?
As I am over 100K now, which would be break in time for a Japanese truck and my 2018 Power Wagon has been extremely un-reliable. From electrical glitches to transmission rebuild already. ( started failure at 63K) The stark difference in reliability after owning Japanese all my life is truly astonishing. I am curious if the 2019+ are any better now that we are in a few years on those. Especially the guaranteed fail points like the 2018 and earlier boat anchor transmissions, sway bar disconnects, front locker actuation...Off to the next shop for AC repair this morning. On the positive side some older guaranteed fail points like front suspension and steering boxes are no longer a problem. But so far to go...Its a great vehicle for me, but I really want to hear about some improvements moving forward to buy another. 60-100K transmissions is CVT territory, not heavy duty trucks.
2018 Flame Red, Moon Roof, Dual Alternators, Ram Boxes sadly Ram ran out of, Luxo Package with 8.4 UConnect, Enter and Go with remote start, Auto Wipers and Lights. Added missing skids and White Knuckle sliders. 35" BFG KM3s. Procal and Warn wireless remote for winch.

Sounds like you need something a little more reliable!
why settle for an 8 speed when you could have 9?
rear locker
no disconnecting swaybar to malfunction
no front locker to malfunction
9210 towing
1500 cargo
super capable this truck will last forever

Sounds boring. Rather go with a Toyota than a Nissan, because they are anything but reliable.LockedandLoaded wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 11:34 amSounds like you need something a little more reliable!

why settle for four wheels when you only need two
don't need a sway bar if you're only using one wheel to steer
and you don't need air conditioning if you don't have a cab
"heavy duty" trucks have names like kenworth and peterbilt

Reliable is, or was 10 years ago, run by scumbags. There are lots of other car dealers in Albuquerque, use any of them.LockedandLoaded wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 11:34 amSounds like you need something a little more reliable!

I've not had any problems you've listed for the 18 and older trucks with my 2010...???
Only major issue was a VVT solenoid which required a cam, loaded head, and that bank push rods. Was covered under lifetime powertrain. That was in 2015 with 90k. This year had TIPM issues with 135k.

Comparing apples to apples. My 2005 Titan had some issues IN 225K. But certainly no Transmission rebuilds or engine issues. Its not that Toyotas and Nissans do not have issues. I am just surprised the Ram has 10X the issues after supposed years of improvements. From recalls to small things like the terrible garage door opener, to big things like transmission failure at CVT mileage. I am not a fan boy for anything, just honest.
