I’ve ordered the 75th anniversary

Post by Bmitty » Wed Nov 11, 2020 7:52 am

Hey everyone,

First time poster, have read a lot of your threads. As title says, I placed an order for 75th AE. It’s black, it has for the first time I’m aware of mountain brown leather bucket seats. I’ve ordered 35’s to replace the stock 33’s to give it the stance I’m looking for. S&B cold air intake, Magna flow 19200 exhaust.

I will have this truck very early as I ordered a month ago blind, wanting a low edition number.

Thanks to all the contributors on this forum who helped me decide on buying this machine and this spec.

I’ll do pictures and make a video or 2 to share. Projected timeline of truck delivery is Mid December. Look forward to chatting with you guys about the truck.

Congrats on the order! The 75th anniversary comes with the factory rock-sliders which haven't been available since the 3rd Gen model trucks which is a nice bonus.

While we are waiting for update.....what was on the 75th edition?

Rock sliders!.... from the factory!

Still rolling on 33" tires. :thppt:

And different exterior badging, different wheels that are bead lock capable, different grill, seating and center council from a limited/longhorn truck, and push button t-case to name a few of the main changes.

The 75AE also gets the top-tier “adaptive” projector LED headlights from the limited, vs the “mid-tier” reflector LED headlamps on the “regular” power wagon (and halogen on the tradesman PW).

Someone posted these pictures of the 75AE rock sliders on another forum and they are attached to the rocker panels of the body, not the frame; and they only extend to the back of the cab not wheel-to-wheel

Yea not true rock sliders made for the severe wheeling that many do with these trucks...but a damn nice step and added protection for the minor weekend warrior power wagon.

Wow. That’s disappointing. I got my ‘16 as it was the only truck on the market with manual shift for the t case (my main issue in my Chevy 2500) and leather.

Yes that's another one, I don't want no button select case! WTH
