2021 TRX w/37s but otherwise factory

Or

2014+ Power Wagon with:
Supercharger
37" Tires
4.88 or 5.13 gears
Full Thuren w/3.0 Kings boogies etc

This is just for fun because the only truck I'd consider over my Power Wagon is the upcoming TRX.

With an extra $20k I could take my current build and make it a monster. Not a 700hp monster but it'd be close enough.

Let's not talk resale, just what you'd rather have to romp around in the woods/desert/rocks/mud.

im on board trading in my PW for a warrantied Supercharger...missing my Hellcat.

but i love my solid axles-diesel spec.
i love my frame-HD
i love my Transfer case
I love my swaybar

lets see how they really address the use and abuse the TRX would get if i was behind the wheel. BS that the IFS can handle what is coming its way, at least in stock form.

Two very different trucks. If I wanted something for high speed desert racing I would do the TRX but would rather have a Supercharged PW with the right set up. Much more versatile and in line with what I like to do.

Supercharging was the example the dealer gave me an extreme mod that voids your warranty.

I would much rather they added a factory supercharger option to the PW.

From what little is known about the TRX it looks like it going to have an AWD torque splitting type system instead of a 2wd selection. Understandable given the HP, but not something I want.

No winch, no buy.

i would just rather they put the 426 hellephant motor into the Power Wagons as an option.

I wonder how much of a difference a supercharger would make on these 8klb pigs? Especially with heavy 37" tires. I feel like we would need at least 150+hp and 150+tq to make a noticeable difference.

Does anyone want to volunteer as tribute for next year's PWIM?

There was a youtube channel I followed for a while where they blew up their daily driver jeep’s engine with a crappy turbocharger. Funny how the marketing didn’t mention that ‘feature’. And no, the dealer does not cover that, but they will sell you a new engine.

It wont increase our 0-60 time more then .5 second, but on the highway, high rev-low range, and slingin mud...6PSI can do alot.
