Has anyone removed the decals on their PW? If so was it hard and do you have any tips and tricks.
Thanks

Re: Paint
I have. It's tedious and time consuming. I stripped the decals off, got tired of using adhesive remover for the lines left around the perimeter of the decals and ended up having a local detailer polish it. Unfortunately they scraped the shit out of the paint using plastic scrapers (I hope they wouldn't be stupid enough to actually use a razor) and burned through the edge of my fuel door.
If I were to do it again I would do it entirely on my own from start to finish, but only because I have learned, repeatedly, that people cannot be trusted to do their jobs properly.

Re: Paint
I removed mine using my fingernail and a hair dryer. I started it with my nail and then applied light heat to break the adhesive. I used WD40 to remove the adhesive. I sprayed the WD40 on the adhesive and let it sit for 5 minutes, then used a microfiber towel or shop towel to remove the adhesive. Then I washed and waxed afterward. Hope this helps.
Re: Paint
I had the dealer remove all the decals on mine as part of the deal when buying it(new). They said they have a big “oven” room in their body shop, that is able “to heat the truck and then the decals peel off really easily”. I’m sure a hair dryer and patience would work, goo-gone if any adhesive remains
