Buying a 2020 PW

Hello guys, new to the forums, not to PWs. I built my PW online with everything I want and it comes in at a hefty price ($80,000ish). The only thing that is stopping me from ordering it is the black front end. Does the chrome 5th gen front end fit? Did anyone do this? What did your dealer say?

See about ordering your build through a dealer for a better price.
Iwould probably trade you my chrome front end for your black front end if it swaps over.

After you get a price from your dealer call Dennis Dillon Chrysler Jeep (208) 649-9632.
It might be worth the drive.
I don't know if the chrome grill would work, I suspect it will but that's a guess.
IIRC, people have done this in both directions (chrome for black and black for chrome), but I don't know if it's a straight forward swap or requires some minor fabrication.

I think the chrome would all fit nothing different above the bumper, but it looks like itβs a fair amount of work to remove the grille and trim. Bumper should swap too I think since the tradesman Power Wagon has a chrome bumper.
Personally, I like the black though.

I called Dennis Dillion for a quote at it was around 8K off MSRP from what I could tell. This was for a custom build, dual alternators, no stickers and such. So might be worth your time.

My 2012 came from Dennis Dillon. Good people, best price I could find anywhere!

FYI: I believe Dennis Dillon will also price special orders the same as their on hand inventory.

Do they stay close to their advertised prices or is there a lot of stuff added on?
Around here(Las Vegas) they either add substantial fees on the back end or offer peanuts for your trade-in.

I did a custom order on a 2018, it was about 10K under list. That included some RAM discounts, but it was well worth the drive.. I think you get better discounts on what they have in stock, but its not overwhelming better
Given the situation, I expect that April will be a good month to order a new truck.
