3 Gen Stainless SRT Exhaust Stud/Bolt PNs?
After 3 year and 40k miles I need to replace the exhaust manifold studs/bolts on my trucks rebuilt engine. I have heard that you can use stainless steel SRT bolts. Are there any negatives in doing this, does anyone have the part numbers? Any and all input is welcome.

If the SS fasteners break in the future, they will be much more difficult to drill and extract.
Ford used SS on the 460 engine for trucks and motorhomes in the 90s. They still broke and took 3X as long to fix.

Stainless Steel threads are highly prone to galling and then seizing under heat and pressure...

Good stainless fasteners are used exactly for applications like that. Some hi temp anti seize on the threads and seizing won’t be nearly as much of an issue.
As to which fasteners are ideal for the application I have no idea. I’d venture to say that if you wanted the best setup you might do what Cummins has done forever and use a long bolt and a sleeve to clamp the manifold to the block. A longer bolt has more length to handle elongation and creep.

Check out stage8 locking hardware for the hemi exhaust manifolds. More work to install, but you’ll only have to do it once

I ended up replacement everything with new OEM parts including studs/bolts, gaskets and heat-shields. I had one broken stud that needed to be extracted the nuts holding the heat-shields on were rusted solid so they had to be cut off. I could not get the right side header out of the wheel well so I drilled, cleaned, and replaced everything as I moved it around.
It was a heck of a job 2.5 days of contorting myself into tight spaces luckily I had a good 1/4" socket and ratchet set with extensions and a 1/4" torque wrench so everything could be torqued to spec the new exhaust manifold hardware is installed and the truck runs and sounds great!

I had the dealership replace my exhaust manifold studs under the life time drivetrain warranty last summer. I was changing front brake pads 2 weeks ago, and seen a hairline crack in the right side manifold. Debating about using the warranty to replace the manifold or get a set of long tube headers.

Thanks I hope so too.
The funny thing is didn't really hear the tick-tick-tick of a leak I only noticed that my right side exhaust heat-shield was rattling around after further inspection I found that the top, rear-most stud was busted.
When I got it apart the #8 cylinder exhaust port had some black soot around it so there was a leak and the engine was noticeably quieter once everything was put back together.
