Sorry if I missed one, and have done a bit of looking on the interwebs, but not really coming up with any.
Thx.

what is harping on you from pulling the trigger....i still feel like there is no better option-the modularity, the quality, the weight, the clearance... whose beating it?
best purchase in changing the actual capability of an off road-rocky-situation. clearance improvement is massive from stock.
what pics do you want, any specific angles?

I'd like to see shots of what the access is to the clutch, what kind of openings are committed to for lights (that may tie me into a specific brand that I may or may not want), how much of a top shelf there is to mount my antennas and possibly lights. What would be my options for fairleads, if any.
Don's own site has said that, "Pics coming soon," for 8+ months now. So I really haven't seen any good shots of one mounted and/or in use.
I have two options locally from fabricators that can build me pretty much any design I want, one of which has already built several that allow function of the Park Assist. So I'd like to evaluate my $2k+ buying decision based on my needs.

Thanks RLG. What lights did you end up putting in it? Also, I'm assuming that is a F55 hawse that'll just bolt on there?

Thanks guys. RPS1030, since you're here in Phx., would it be possible to maybe meet you so I could look at it and chat a bit? I'm at Scottsdale Rd. and the 101, Discount Tire Corp.

Just don’t do a led bar in that port and you’ll be fine with a cube. I’m large and fit my entire hand on the clutch.

mounting style for lights is universal, so youll have to measure some ports and match them to corresponding pods or bars.... baja or rigid or Chinesium will work.
fairlead will be dictated by whats on the spool. you should have rollers for cable, but i just have a steel Hawse because i have light use of my winch...PWs dont get stuck and their pull out game is bar none.
you can mount anything you want with a little creativity. the Surface Area and open skeleton design make that simple...

I've been eyeing up this bumper for my '13. A couple of questions:
1) What did you guys do for finish? Paint it yourself? Local powder coater?
2) Don't you wish Don would have an optional bull bar for some deer / brush protection? One thought I had was to have my own bar work fabricated and welded on before having it coated.

I had it powder coated at a local shop to match the powdercoat on my custom grill.
And yes I always wanted a bull bar of some kind on it but after thinking it through and talking to some fabricators it just never happened and couldn't find a functional design.

I tried to figure out a bull bar for it. I’m sure it’s doable, but to me the bull bar concept needs to be pretty serious in structural terms. The bumper was not designed for it and it would take some work to make a legitimate bull bar that will work.

1. I had mine powder coated locally. I matched it to the color/luster to my White knuckle sliders. It’s just about spot on.
2. Yes a brush guard would have been nice. I think it would be pretty easy to weld a simple one on prior to powder coating. I thought about it. I recommend doing that.

Yeah, I see what you guys mean. To follow the nose line, the main hoop would have to be attached to the wings of the Thuren bumper. Welded would be the strongest, but perhaps the top of the wing would need some reinforcement at the weld point so as to not just bend or crack on impact of say a deer. Or to keep everything removable (wings and bar work) it would have to be bolted with a flange and sandwiched in, but they would have to be serious bolts and supporting hardware, because that would become the sheer point. DOM of approx 2" min for the bar. Would probably still be better than nothing. This thought process is coming from someone who's wife's Cherokee was out of commission for a while last winter due to a deer impact. I regularly have close calls with my rig. PA is whitetail country. Thanks for your discussion points guys. If I ever get around to doing this, I will certainly create my own post on it. I did reach out to Don suggesting he provides an option.

its steel... anything is possible. bolt on or weld...its just a time and effort thing, for Don included.
and alot of us would probably do it.
i want more of a Push bar style, yet i also do not want any further protrusion, so a vertical bar the width of the grill would be ideal, or mounted aft on the bumper with a slight forward tilt to further load the bumper and not the bar or grill contact on an impact.

It’s not the attachment that’s e issue, it’s that anywhere you have a good point to attach doesn’t have internal structure to support it. If you put a rib inside the bumper where the bull bar should mount, you block the bolts to install the wings.

I went through all this. Best solution is a bolt on solution to the wings. BUT it wouldn't have much structural integrity. Just didn't seem worth it for the weight for something that probably couldn't take a strike anyway...
