I have a 2005 Dodge power Wagon. when I got it the lockers didn't work the sway bar disconnect would only work in 2 wheel drive it was a mess. since then I hardwired my lockers and just last week I created an electronic sway bar disconnect that bypasses the smartbar. Attached is my video check it out.

Something to think about. The 05's uses the old electrical system. The 06's and up use the can-bus system. I'm not sure, but the 4G's uses another can-bus. So I don't work if it would work with a newer PW. The circuit boards would be different. If you look up the price for a 05 smartbar. I believe it's around $300.00. The price for an '06 and up is around $2,000.00.
Someone else can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

i assume if you attempted to utilize the sway bar bypass, the system would recognize it as an error, and probably lockout your lockers and give you a dash light.
if you had hardwired lockers as well, then probably not an issue..unless it triggers some limp mode or other.

Yeah, that is nifty, but you removed the board. So if your idea is that you are going to sell this, that will be of no good to anyone else since it will nuke their locker switch.
Although now that I think about it, I should have done that. Might have to go out to the garage and fiddle with it again.

This is pretty much what I was hoping to find today.
Man, I'm glad that I decided to take my SmartBar outta my 05
when I swapped my Axles n Suspension into my 06 Mega Cab.
Yes I did take my Winch and cradle also. I'm sure other people
also did a Full PW swap, any1 else make a Mega Power Wagon?

That's a cool idea Rob-Pod. It is still working great. RustyPW yes the board inside the smartbar is different but the internals are the exact same. Two black wires to run the magnet and a red and a white to run a motor. I can't wait tell it gets a little warmer and I can do some more rock crawling.

Good luck. I bought an 05 new and it taught me to never buy a year one model of anything. The lockers/smartbar would fault every time the truck got wet and they never could fix it. They worked on it on and off for two years. They made some of my payments and ended up giving me extra cash on a new 07 (great truck, which I still have).

its a new world out there with the Evo On demand Swaybar disconnect.
and you can bypass the smartbar module completely.
