Do all 09's jave the 383hp VVT? Found a decent deal on one. It was end of February build

You can check by the vin number, I don’t know if all 09’s do but mine sure does

Yes, you can tell by the air intake tube in the front on the engine

I did check vin and it does have it. I am buying it. Some sites have it at 355hp and some 383 hp. Thought they were 383 hp in 09?

Here are the specs for the Power Wagon 5.7 Hemi. Ram 1500 Hemi's may have different hp/torque ratings for some years.

2005-2008 Power Wagon 5.7 - (345 hp and 375 lb.-ft.)
2009 Power Wagon 5.7 VVT - (355 hp and 395 lb.-ft.)
2010-2013 5.7 VVT - (383 hp and 400 lb.-ft.)

Where’d you find the 09 with different power numbers than 10 and on? As far as I know the 09 and on 1500 and 2500 share the same 383 horsepower motor. Even the drive belt system is the same between them, in my work experience they’re identical

I got this information by searching Google for "2009 ram power wagon specs" here's a few results. The 2009 2500/3500 5.7 VVT is a one year only engine configuration, the 2009 1500 5.7 VVT has 390 hp and 407 lb.-ft.
