Here's one for ya

Post by stooper » Sun Sep 03, 2017 11:32 pm

Power went out today. Nothing out of the ordinairy, we live in the mountains. I deceided to hang out in the truck for a little to charge my phone and plus the boys ( 5 and 2) like to climb around. We had the windows down while we were in but closed them for sure when we were done.
Two hours later, during thunder, lightning and moderate rain my wife says, "why are the trucks lights on?", i say "dunno", and lock it with the fob, i left it unlocked earlier. So an hour after that i went out for a walkabout to check rain damage and found both front windows down and seats soaked. Doors were locked. I had the keys on my belt loop the whole time. I unlocked the doors, put the windows up ( had to relearn driver's auto up) and staired at the truck for a while.
I am stumped as to why the windows would be down.
Does the remote have an auto down feature?
My old altima had something like that, but used the key in the door.
Any ideas, or just ghosts?
Thanks for reading.

I believe your 2010 does have auto down. My 2010 1500 had it and I loved it. If the widows are up and you click the unlock button twice AND hold it down, they will roll down.

Seems pretty out of the ordinary to me! I live in the mountains and power never goes out. Ok, so I am off grid....Actually just across the Mountains from you as a matter of fact on the Albuquerque side.
2018 Flame Red, Moon Roof, Dual Alternators, Ram Boxes sadly Ram ran out of, Luxo Package with 8.4 UConnect, Enter and Go with remote start, Auto Wipers and Lights. Added missing skids and White Knuckle sliders. 35" BFG KM3s. Procal and Warn wireless remote for winch.

Yeah if you hit unlock twice and hold it, the front windows go down as long as the button is held. Bummer!
