Got to compare the two tires today so I thought I'd throw this up here if anyone is ever on the fence between the two. I am told by someone very knowledgeable that they have the same sidewall and tread construction and the load range difference is due only to the difference in contact patch. Both are 21/32" tread depth. Totally unscientific haha.

Is that not MikeKey's truck in the background?

Yeah that's MikeKey's truck. He did the 12.5's.

That tire tread pattern looks very, very similar to the new Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003, and also very similar to the Cooper Discoverer STT that I have (no longer available).

Should be a great tire, too bad it's so difficult to get Toyo's in these parts.

I have noticed that wider tires seem to be considerably noisier going down the road.

That sure is a funny looking bumper.....

Yeah Yokohama straight stole that tread pattern. Curious to see how they perform, if they took any cues from their AT

As much as those tires weigh it's probably better to stick with the 12.5's. They look great on the truck, perfect fit. Is that a strider folder?

It's a Zero Tolerance 0350. It's my favorite knife and I take it everywhere, but I can't call myself a collector.

As someone who's about to be towing 7500lbs 3-4 times a month and is on the 12.5" D rated 17" tire i'm very interested to know if that is in fact the case or not.

Also, with a factory lift and the 12.5" wide 37" tire on a 18mm offset wheel I get occasional rubbing. The 13.5" tire is nearly 2" wider so no way they'd work in my circumstance. Those look like factory wheels is that your plan?

I carry the same knife. ZT's have a substantial feel that makes other knives feel inadequate.

Tires look great. I have decided that 37s are in order, just haven't landed on the MT's or RT's (my current tire, of the smaller 35 variety). How is the noise with the MT?

There is none. Toyo's a very quiet tire. Not a bro tire at all.

You will probably have less rubbing then I do on the outside rear of the fender; however, I don't think you'll be able to turn lock to lock.

My MTs are pretty noisy above 40mph but with the windows up nothing more than a subtle hum (these trucks appear to be well insulated even in my tradesman base trim). With the windows down they are definitely noisy.

I took that yesterday actually after I brought it home from tire Depot. The filled her to Max PSI naturally. I've since reduced that, but this measurement is at 50psi from the ground.

Front Drivers Side: I had already recorded some others like my bump stop change and things. What I regret not measuring is the rocksliders ground to bottom. I kept my 35's to use as winter set, so I will take that measurement when I put them back on.

Thanks for the reply, was wondering what the tire measures itself mounted and on truck ... The wheel opening looks close to mine at the lip I think Im 44 3/4 or so. My Ridge grapplers are 36" or so with 40 lbs in them - stock rims, and grow over 36 with more air in them.
