Any of you folk get a recall notice on the transmission in you 2500 trucks. I got one today and my Power Wagon goes in Monday. Says a 3 hour repair.

I didn't get a notice. And searching my vin doesn't seem to indicate there are any open recalls on my truck. A 2015.

I have just check my VIN through the Mopar site and no recall was listed. Although about a month ago while getting an oil change at the dealer, they replaced a transmission solenoid because supposedly my trans was slipping.

I checked the web site for mine. Says 2016-2017 trans solenoid pack, crappy terminals/connection can cause it to go into limp mode.

Called dealer, he's ordering the parts for mine. Who knows how long that will take.

It just came out on the 26th, so it will take a while to notify you by mail.

Go here and poke in your VIN#. It will probably say no safety recalls. Scroll down a bit and it will show you any other recalls that it may have. Good chance it's got one if it's a 16-17, it seems.

I have a 2017 PW and nothing came up when I put in the VIN. Not a safety recall or a campaign recall...

Thanks for the link Waldo. I just punched in my VIN and it shows no current Safety Recalls, but there is an incomplete Campaign (recall) from May 28; 2016-2017 TRANSMISSION SOLENOID PACK.

Guess it is time to notify the dealer since they have not notified me (although I am sure something will soon show up in the mail).

I went to the website mentioned. Typed in my vin and nothing came up. I believe someone said it was a 2016-17 issue. Which makes sense since my vehicle was built in 2015, but sold as an early '16. Maybe they changed vendors in January?

Checked my '16 and nothing came up. No safety recalls and no campaigns.

Seems likely to me that the issue is affecting a subset of 2017-2017 trucks

IDK, my 16 was ordered and built in late 2015, delivered around the 1'st of the year.

Had mine in for other drivabillity issues and the dealer did the recall. The trans is now worse than it was before with lagging and hunting for gears .

Well then, maybe I won't get that free trans flush. Sorry to hear that rammit. Let us know how it turns out.

They might have reset or reflashed the PCM. Might get better the more you drive it. If not, take it back and bitch.

Thats weird, they did mine last week when it was in for a blower motor, its a 2016, and I think it shifts better now? Seems to come out of overdrive on Highway easier to me?? see how it does as we go. I have 37`s on mine also, so dont know if that is making a difference?

Trans solenoids are nothing to mess with. I'm apprehensive but will have it done after a few more positive reviews. I just upgraded to much heavier 35's and my shift points have changed slightly. Just as soon get her done.

My notice just came in the mail today. Going to let them get a few repairs under their belt before I bring mine in.

Don't forget about the PCM re-program moving forward later this month to fix the potential rollover / airbag issue.
