Hi All
I pick up a new 2017 black wagon couple weeks ago and just want to share it

I have been reading up on rear airbags and thinking I will be going with the Daystar Air Bag Cradle but am still up in the air about the bags, I have seen 3 bags so far Firestone, Airlift and Boss so any more input sure would be helpful. I am planning on buying a TT with a weight around 6-8K empty.

Welcome to the party!
I tow a similar size tt and had no issues not having air bags. With the weight distribution hitch setup properly the truck set perfectly level.
However, i have now leveled my truck so i have installed bags. I went with Airlift ultimate 5000.

olyelr How much weight are you towing and how heavy is your load in your truck? One TT that I have been looking at is 8540 with a GVW of 10400 so I am not sure if that will be to much for my PW.

Our trailer is 7000 empty. I rarely have anything more than some peddle bikes and a small generator in the bed of truck, so not much weight back there.
The truck is rated for towing 10,000 if memory serves me right so it should be able to handle the trailer you are looking at. There are plenty of folks who tow much more than that. For me, it boiled down to the amount of time I actually tow, which isnt very much. Personally, if I was doing lots of towing, even with my size trailer, I would have went for the cummins. The hemi can do it, just nowhere near as effectively or efficiently.

Thanks for your input, my wife is still working so for us it will be few short weekends and couple trips down to FL or MB a year. I didn't want a diesel right now because most of the time I am just doing local running around and the short local trips are a real killer on the new diesels.

New Wagon looks great. We tow with a Wagon as well. Although our weight is much less. But we tow regularly.
