Power Wagon Registry

Anybody tried this mod? I've seen mostly good reviews with people reporting slight gains in MPG and throttle response.

Heck i would try that to work on my misfire. I think I have a timing issue. Don't know how much it changes the timing but for $45, and if people say it helps mileage?

I remember seeing his user name when Dodge Talk was still active. I never bought his product, but if memory serves me correctly, he had a good reputation. I'd say contact him directly for any questions.

I have one on my truck. Ehhhh... I think the computer eventually corrects for everything.

I might give it a try, it's $50 bucks and most everything I'm seeing about it is positive.

i forgot all about air ram. good to see he's still around. if i remember correctly, it did make a difference. its basically tricking the computer into thinking the intake air temperature is cooler then it actually is using a resistor i believe. this makes the computer add more fuel and you get a small power gain. you could technically make your own if you wanted to. i remember there being a DIY for it on dodgetalk years ago.

I have seen the DIY as well, thing is I'm no wiring pro, more like a novice.

I was thinking this paired with intake and exhaust my be a good combination.

This works assuming the computer does run a little on the lean side at WOT. If I remember right the hemi's run a little rich from the factory so adding more fuel won't help.

The explanation I saw that makes sense does not deal with fuel, but with timing. Fueling is constant, except at WOT. The gains from this are supposedly from timing advance.

If you advance the timing you have to change to premium to compensate, if this is just a resistor that fools the ecu into thinking its getting colder air than it is it will just dump more fuel in, it might mess with the timing a little bit but if it advances it and it sees detonation it will back the timing off anyway.
