Power Wagon Registry

Just curious if anyone who has ordered a 2017 PW has had it delivered yet? I ordered mine mid November, was supposed to leave the plant 12/19. I spoke with the dealer (and yes I have dealt with them before and he is very upfront and pro-customer) and he hasn't been able to get any further info. We are waiting for it to reach "KZ Status" (whatever that translates into) and then he will be able to give me a delivery date. I do have the actual VIN number already, so that's a positive. So was just wondering if anyone has received theirs, and if so how long did it take? Has anyone seen a 2017 on a dealer lot yet? In my area, NYS, on the website it lists them all in transit to dealerships (i'm assuming these were dealer ordered and not customer specific).

I dunno why, but the gloss black Decal against all that matte black ruins the white truck IMO.

Well I guess they're coming. I figure dealer spec orders were pre-ordained and in the queue well before my personal build was. At least there is headway...now just have to hold on for a couple more weeks I guess. lol

LOL. I actually like it. Waited for the 17's to come out because of it....personally I'm tired of the crosshairs. That's just me though, I certainly respect anyone's choice. LMAO...on another note I've seen some pretty funny comments about the new grill.. Pig Snout / Mustache Grill...and to be honest I can see the resemblance.

Man, Ive always liked the PW but this latest version is so much cooler. Its why I REALLY want one now. The whole attitude has changed for the better IMO. LOVE IT!

I ordered mine in Blue Streak. Never had a blue vehicle before so it was a nice change for me. Whenever I finally get delivery of it I'll be sure to post pics. Actually ordered mine from a dealer in Detroit; cost me about 5k less than in NY. So my son and I fly out and drive home and still come out ahead and of course some bonding time. I also bought my Hellcat Charger back in 15 from this dealership because they were very good to deal with. Last time we drove back home through PA, this time we are planning on heading north through Canada and come down through northern NYS. The new design really seems to be a love it or hate it kinda split...but that goes with anything....if we all liked the same things then thered only be one car model I guess. lol

That's why they have a badging delete option. I'd have deleted the old one and I'd delete the new trucks too. With all the black on the new trucks (fenders, bumpers, grill), a deleted truck is going to need the rockers Line-X'ed or painted to look right. Too bad the graphics are tied into the rockers.

I have a 2017 Laramie but you are all taking about the new graphics I assume. I haven't seen one on the lot yet.

On 2016's and earlier, correct. Badging delete on the 2017's deletes the black rockers. The vertical "Power Wagon" decal on the bed sides extends down into the rockers, which would make all of that black from front to back just a vinyl decal. Interesting none the less. Earlier model years were painted black, correct? Now its just a decal?

I took delivery of my white one last week, and I love it but I had ordered it in September. The black on bottom is paint not decal the bottom two letters are white decal on black paint. I almost bought a 16 then saw the 17 promo and waited, I understand every one has different taste.

Ironically, I like the 2017 graphics much more than the 2016's. Love that retro vertical stripe.
I might even try to get it put on my 16.

I like the new grill. If everything on my truck wasn't chrome I'd buy one.

Buy the chrome one. Although I suppose it is not quite identical in style... but close.

Front/Back---pass
Retro decals + all black emblems--sweet(did it to mine)
Black bumpers--neutral (although I did it to mine)
New interior--cool, but not worth upgrading for

Best part of 17's---new PW wheels, those are awesome & I will buy them from any newbie selling their new stock wheels to buy a custom wheel --pm me!!

I like the look of the new graphics! I wouldn't mind those on mine, I can even look past the grill, but I absolutely HATE the tire tread seats!
