Well, the VDO fuel pump I installed less than 18 months ago died and left me stranded in a parking lot. The only fuel pump that was available this time was a Napa pump (the paper work inside the box said it was made by Carter), so we'll see how long this one lasts. At least this one has a lifetime warranty.

There wasn't enough time to wait for a Mopar pump to be delivered. Maybe I'll just order one to carry with me. :cash:

There were no codes when I checked with the pocket scanner I carry with me, but when I used my Snap-On scanner, there was a #P127E (fuel pump control circuit open) code stored in the TIPM.

I might also need to install an access door in the bed of my truck, so I don't have to drop the tank or pull the bed next time. It would totally suck if this happened out on the trail!
