Red Cone Peak (Colorado)

~ 12,800' at the peak. 28 deg F today with some light snow. Hill down to Webster Pass was a little exciting as there was quite a bit of snow drifted over the trail which made it a bit icy. 15 years since I did this trail. It was the first trail I took my stock 2001 Ram 1500 Off-Road over. The trail has got rougher over the years as it has washed out (and the snow today) as well, 2.5' more wheelbase makes dodging the trees more exciting. (First scratch I got on my second gen was here.) Only marks were on the WK rock sliders (both kickouts got some pretty good wear) and some to the control arm mounts and diff cover.

Quad guys behind me had some comments:

Quad: "That's impressive."
Me: "What?"
Quad" You just crawled right up those wet rocks, do you have lockers?"
Me: "Yeah"
Quad: "Front and rear?"
Me: "Yeah, and a sway bar disconnect."
Quad: "Wow, that's impressive."

Not sure if this will work, but a video my wife made:

Nice. I tried on my Super Enduro 950 one day, but the lose rocks on the uphill were a bit much. I did end up going up Webster and Radical Hill that day though...
