Sun Roof Recall

Yesterday, while I was at the dealer service department, they told me there is a recall to replace the sun roof glass on my 2016 PW.
Today, it is being done.
I never use the sun roof and I had not noticed any leaks or other problems. Hopefully, I won't have them after this "fix". :lol:

Do you know if this for other years? A buddy bought a Rebel and his was recalled and said older ones too but haven't verified. Hoping do because mine leaks.....

RAM RAPID RESPONSE TRANSMITTAL (RRT) 16-024.

Replace sunroof glass to repair water leak.

Applies to 2016 Ram trucks built before 12/8/2015.

Going through a carwash about 2 weeks ago and the back of my head and neck got wet. Taking my 2015 in this week to get it fixed. Recall or not, still under standard factory warranty.

Yeah, they said they had to check mine out this week too. I've never had a problem. I use it mostly for a vent when the truck is parked and baking in the sun.
