I had installed the Magnaflow #19200 exhaust on my 2015 RAM 2500 Power Wagon (6.4L V8). It works, and fits perfectly. And the exhaust sounds as good as it looks. You need the whole system (both mufflers i.e. factory set-up), because if you remove the secondary muffler you will get horrible decibel levels. The is because of the ECO mode dropping down to four cylinders occasionally. I did not see an improvement on gas mileage, but I did feel faster!

I straight piped my 09! Love the way it sounds. Not horrible under normal driving but definitely Know it's there when you put it down lol

I installed a Magnaflow #12589 on my truck and removed the resonator. Then had a custom tip added, and left it tucked up behind the rear wheel for maximum clearance while off road.

I have the magnaflow kit from mufflex on my 15 wagon... I removed the resonator and dumped the exhaust right after the rear axel... I don't notice any more noise with the resonator off then I did with it on... It sounds like a prop plane when the mds kicks in but most of the time I leave mine in 6th gear so I don't get the mds kicking in... Also on 37's so the mds doesn't kick in much anyway... I haven't seen any noticeable mpg gains with the muffler or the K&N CAI... Sounds a heck of a lot better though...

Jones Turbine 3535XL on mine with no factory resonator and tucked up high for clearance. Minimal drone, noticeable gain in high rpm range, and I get compliments frequently on Furiosa being the best sounding truck they've ever heard. If you've never heard a turbine muffler on a cold start, I highly recommend blessing your ears with the sweet symphony of combustion. I find myself purposely parking with the exhaust pointing towards the direction of my return so I can remote start on the walk back and watch all the Raptor owners tuck their tails.

I don't have the newer models with the MDA so can't speak on the exhaust layout of those, plus all the newer electronics and sensors involved, but on my 05 I have true dual's from headers, then meeting underneath back seat using a collector, to a large Magnaflow muffler emptying before the rear axle. I like the sound when getting on, but it's too quiet at idle, so I am looking at something deeper and louder in the future. However, I must say, when dumping it before the axle, and putting on a high flow large muffler, it must have done something good to the backpressure because it was a very noticeable increase to the performance. I "FEEL" like I can hang with those raptors, at least in the 0-60 performance, I know they'd leave me past that.

I have the magnaflow drop-in from mufflex, removed the resonator, and dumped the exhaust behind the axle, and my results are different and do not support the concerns you cited.

Second the above statements. Sound and noise is a bit subjective.
I don't have the resonator, and my decibel levels are lower than my 1500 was. And there is almost no drone when MDS kicks on. I was actually disappointed for the first few weeks I had it, because it wasn't loud enough and didn't sound like the nice dual exhaust mufflex kit I had on the 1500.
