Great episode. So far the Power Wagon has won a challenge and the Subaru has won one. The Jeep is dead last, but it does have the worst driver out of the three. Coming up they are supposed to be wrapped. Be interesting to see what they look like.

Any one notice during the STI intro montage they showed the PW locker knob?

I still can't stand the American topgear. Looking forward to the Amazon "grand tour" hope it has the same magic as the original.

Same here, it's hard to swallow. And it's straight up crap compared to the old UK version.

I guess I'm in the minority because I like it, like both actually.

One thing is for sure you will never see a Power Wagon on the UK Version.

I personally like the show as well, but can't compare much to the UK version as I haven't seen all too many of those episodes. I think the US group of guys are funny and I can relate to them better. Each one of them has a little bit of my personality in them. I like to go fast sometimes (Tanner), I like to get my hands dirty on engines (Adam), and I have my kids and enjoy retro things (Rut).

X3. I am into euro sports cars as well as American muscle. The American TG doesn't cover either with anything than acting like a bunch of bafoons. At least the original TG covered the euro cars in a professional manner with some English wit.

Ugh that show sucks so much. I recall the Raptor v halo, the rock buggy v they canoe, the ridiculous fuel mileage one. So fake.

They did test the Hennessy Velaciraptor and a Chevy 2500HD in an episode of UK Top Gear last season or the one before last. I was hoping they would have broke out a Power Wagon instead of the 2500, but it was still a good episode. Jeremy had the Raptor balls to the wall up a snowy mountain in the northern rockies up in Canada and James was taking it nice and easy in the Chevy.

Wow, I didn't know a show could cause so much hate and discontent.

IF I don't like something, I don't watch it.

Whether you like the show, don't like, or are neutral, you can't disagree that the publicity was good. :duel:

So I used to own a 2010 Subaru WRX STI in World Rally Blue except hatch back version.
Mine was closer to about 370 HP with a cobb stage 2 tune full turbo back 3" stainless exhaust, Cobb cold air intake.

I would NEVER have considered doing what he did to that subie. That car was not meant to ramp off giant rocky rough roads like that. It was very much a flat road car, fun in the mud or snow but as soon as it got rough the entire car would hurt something awful because of the suspension on it.

I sold the car for almost as much as I bought it for brand new 5 years later. No longer fit my needs (kinda hard to go deer hunting with a hatch back that low to the ground)
And rutted out winter roads always cracked my spoiler lip on the front bumper because of the 5" of ground clearance.

That said it was funny to watch. So anyone plasti-dippin their trucks pink?
