Apparently the wife thinks the AEV trip is my Christmas gift...
I told her it was purely coincidental that I'm using the family visit to Michigan to drop off the truck, which just happens to also coincide w/ Christmas, she's not getting it.

Hey, if you need someone to sneak your truck around let me know, I would be happy to try out any and all accessories you buy and let you know how they work!

Picked up my truck today from AEV. The service manager gave my son & I a tour of the production factory. All I can say is WOW

The amount of parts, gear, equipment is amazing. They're +45d on production vehicles, they are swamped. When they get jeeps delivered from their designated dealers, they strip them down to the bare frame & start from there w/ the builds. They chop the frames & bodies & fab up/weld the new boxes right there, they do the engine (v8) builds & swaps, all the suspension work, all the lighting, all the stripping/priming/painting/powder coating on site. AEV in Montana is where they do the design, AEV in Michigan is where all the fab/installs like mine & new production vehicles are done. They also have a process of selling all the new OEM parts they remove from the Rams & Jeeps, and apparently they're not demanding top dollar for those parts either, they just want to get rid of that inventory. Also, the price they quote factors in a 'core' credit to keep your stock parts.
Oh--I had the raised air intake w/ pre-filter installed & their newly released steel, high volume front diff cover

My bad, I forgot the pics, here they are, and I'll post some pics of the CFO's prospector with the new bumper installed too. Got tell ya, my truck w/ 33's next to the AEV Ram with 37's looks completely different ...

Do you happen to have any contact information for someone there who I could talk to about said leftover parts? Or should I just use the contact us page on aev's site?
