I recently got stuck and the mud was up to the frame. I had to winch out and the mud was so deep I needed to spin the tires while winching. I scratched one wheel up very bad from spinning in the rocks. Its a 2013 truck. Is there any way to repair the wheel.

Hard to tell wihtout seeing any pics of the scratches. Sometimes polish is enough to lessen or clean up hairline scratches.

I got is some bad mud with rocks and did the same but lived with it. The tires balance so... Haha

Ya its pretty much ruined it took all the finish off and its only on one wheel. Some are very deep.

You can repair scratches to forged aluminum wheels, but you'll go through the clear coat to do it and it's a lot of work. Might be easier to just live with it. It is a Power Wagon, and you earned those scratches doing Power Wagon stuff, after all.

Just spray it with Plasti Dip, that's what I did

That's what I would do. You will spend dang near as much repairing it as you would to just buy another used one.

I'm with Will, plati - dip it if you don't want to live with it and don't want to drop the coin on an extra.

Google for a wheel repair shop in your area they can usually fix most types of damage including sand, polish and new clear coat for a lot less than a new wheel.

That sucks, let's see the damage...

I ended up sanding the rim with 1500 grit and polishing it with a drill, Looks a lot better except for a few deep scratches. It really brought the shine back.

Must not have been that bad then, mine is missing chunks on the leading edge. Haha

Looks way better than it did before sanding and polishing but it still has some deep scratches. Im going to wet sand it again and polish it. I think I can make it a little better. I use the truck for what it was intended for. Stuff like this is going to happen.

Years ago I damaged a Jeep wheel so badly that it was not safe to drive on. Sent it to a professional wheel repair shop and it came back good as new, not too expensive.

I once needed a complete set of aluminum wheels for a Jag I was doing, and all I could find was a refinished set. Bought them long distance with return option, and they were great. A competent wheel shop can work wonders.

I don't have a wheel shop close. Im going to wet sand again, polish, then wax. I think I can get it a little better than it is now. I wish I took a before picture because the wheel looked horrible. It was completely dull.

i've learned if your going to offroad the PW, ya gotta live with the scratches.

An orbital polisher with mild grit wet abrasive polish will greatly help with that
