Has or is anyone running the Metal Cloak control arms? I have sreached around and haven't found any write ups with someone running these. Would love to know how they flex and ride.

I have a 2013 PW I'm running Carli arms on, and I recently bought an '06 PW for my son to drive. Anyway, after doing a little research on the Metal Cloak arms, I decided to try them on my sons '06. He's been running them now about 3 months and they are holding up really well. Very simple bushing design that needs no grease. They seem to be very well built. Only time will tell though if the bushings will hold up on a 3/4 ton truck! They ride very good and are quiet on the road. We haven't had the chance to flex them a lot yet other than playing around on some trails in our deer lease, and they performed well. Hope that info helps you out some.

I went to the shop and talked to Will(the one who came up with them for metalcloak) when they first announced the arms. I spent 30 minutes with him talking and looking over his truck (lifted 3Gen Diesel on 37s). He showed me the bushings separate from the arms and they looked like a solid design. No maintenance and easily replaceable. I don't recall the actual mileage, but he had been running them for a while with no issues, same story with a few other trucks in the shop. Flex wasn't brought up but the bushings are similar to their jeep bushings which I have only heard good things about. I have been mulling getting a set when funds are available.

I don't have any experience with the other arms on the market so I cant compare, but I was impressed with the metalcloaks and they are on the top of my list.

love them but 1800$ long arm kit is much more than my wallet can handle right now

is your son still runnning 285's for tires?

No. He is running 35x12.50 17 Nitto Trail Grapplers on some black Moto Metal wheels that were on the truck when we bought it. No rubbing at all on the arms or sway bar, but they did rub the rear of the front fenders a little due to the wrong offset on the wheels. We did a little trimming and fixed that for the time being, but we are planning on changing the wheels to either some factory PW wheels or some with a better back spacing.
