Hey guys doing some cost comparisons. I'm pretty sure I'm going with 37s in the toyo r/ts. I'm just curious I know one of you has them, what the cost was. Or, what you spent of you put 37s on even if they aren't the toyos. My quote was $1600 at gateway tire. Tire discounter couldn't even get them and said they weren't out. Any way, just getting info.

I paid 1900 for hankooks. Many 37" tires have deeper tread than 35's too so a bit longer treadlife. Gotta pay to play right. 1600 seems like a good price for toyos

I paid $1750 for me Yoko's, but that includes $175 in freight because we couldn't find any close by and of course, I had to have them , Without that I would have been just under $1600. Mine also came with lifetime rotate and balance and free puncture repair for the life of the tire...

Broken down per the ticket...
$343 per tire = $1372
$16 mount per tire = $64
$1 waste per tire = $4 (Florida BS)
$3 disposal per old tire = $12
$172 freight
$122 sales tax @ 7.5%
$0 lifetime rotate and balance
$0 lifetime free flat repair

Can I high jack for a second, How do you like those Hankooks? I was torn between those and the Yoko AT's, they're almost exactly the same size and I'm thinking I will go to the next. Almost wish I could sell these Yokos to try them because I have almost 25k miles on them and looks like they'll last forever (I love the Yokos, I just like trying different things)

Ok. Thanks for the info. They had a toyo r/t 35 12.50 18 in the showroom and it looked huge compared to stock. I can't imagine 37s. Now I keep going back and forth on size...

Will, I meant to ask you. I've had my intune installed for about a week now I guess. I can tell a difference in power and the mpgs have gotten better, but I was wondering if it took any time to see the gains you are getting? Like I said, I'm just about a week-week and a half in it. Filled up Wednesday with a fresh tank of gas. I'm running the 87 tune and put 87 in this last fill up.
I also prefer the 89, but not sure now much that matters. I've kind of landed at 13.1 mpg and it seems to have stopped there. Like I said, the mpg average is staying higher than it used to, so that's good.
Also not sure what your drive is daily. I am about 50/50 highway city.

I love them. I used to swap tires a lot before. It now I'm sticking with them. Have 72k km on them and there is still 9/32 tread on the 3 that weren't affected by the shock. I will be buying them again. No question. A bit louder than an at but no worse than a km2. I had mine studded. They were awesome in winter. Never had issues. They love snow. And the studs were better than any siping on ice. Balanced well with standard weights. Roll nicely. Extremely tough. Awesome in mud. Better than most. And if driving over concrete curbs is any indication they fled very well to contour to terrain. At full pressure too. I never aired them down for anything. I'd bet they would be even better then.
I expect to hit close to 90k km even 100 this summer. Gonna wear Em right out and get a new set before fall

It's just about instant as far as I can tell. I am running a custom 93 tune by Sean through Hemifever though... If I reload it with the Diablo 87 tune, there's a very noticeable difference to the downside. I drive around 65 miles daily and it's about 50/50 as well. I can easily get low to mid 14 mpg but most of the time, with my driving habits and the occasional push it to floor, I'm overall averaging 13.7. I also remote start my truck every morning for about 10 minutes and I know that's not much but the clock for mpg starts as soon as it fires off. I've tried all of the Diablo preset tunes and the Hemifever 93 custom gives the best performance and best fuel economy. I wish you were close and could drive both the see/feel the difference with the 37's and this tune. It's something special and I've been thinking of installing a cam lately.

I feel it settles in a couple of drives anyway.

Thanks for the tire feedback on the Hankooks. I will try them out. Their size along with the ones I have are meant for a stock 2010 PW with bent arms. Perfect clearance.

Hey nts007 where do you usually purchase your hankooks? I put an order in at discount tire over a month ago for some 37" hankook and they keep telling me that the factory is on a national back order. I am not in a giant rush since i don't have the control arms yet, wondering how long those will take to come in also, but I wanted to check other vendors.

Will, thanks for the info. When should I talk to Sean? It sounds like you have a good tune. The 13 mpg I'm getting is stock. I am hoping to see better stock. Anyway, yea I'd like to see a tune like yours on the truck

Place called value tire. They said 9 sets available. But that's in canada only as far as I know

Hemifever tunes wake the truck right up!!! I paid 1600$ for my Toyos mt's Canadian but that's at my dealers cost... Plus taxes

Im geared for 40's 2 wag. Ran 35's with 3.73s no problem. 40's and 4.56s is less stress than that. Well on my drivetrain. Good thing I have a spare 11.5 axle kicking round
