I haven't e-nailed yet, but I've spoken with him at length 3x since July. He was hoping his main donor source would have a 14 PW for him mid-Jan, but now he said probably late spring is realistic. Hopelessly waiting!! I'm hoping before summer at least.

Just waiting for the truck owner to get the time to be without his truck for about 2 weeks. He travels the state regularly and needs his truck to do so. The process of getting my hands on a truck has been very trying. I have not found any other trucks locally so I have very few options. I appreciate your patience and will let you know when they become available.

Ok, we should probably start a separate thread, maybe in the vendor section & start a sign-up list for a group buy & list the options we want. I'll call WhiteKnuckle & see what John's thoughts are on doing a PW group buy. If he doesn't want to deal as a group, then we may be stuck ordering individually.

There's a few options on the sliders: type of tube steel, powder coated or bare, diamond plated sections etc. he may want to keep options to a min if he's going to mass produce a bunch at once for us. I'll find out.

The group buy sounds good assuming there is some discount associated with it.
If the group buy doesn't fly, see if we can negotiate a Power Wagon Forum discount. As a group, we can generate quite an amount of business for him by recommending his rock sliders.

I received a msg from John & he finally has a 2500'(CTD) loaner to pattern the new sliders. He said it'll take 1-2 wks to complete. I replied & asked about the group buy & said I'd organize the buyers, collect payment, arrange shipping etc. waiting for reply.

John wrote me back and said he was NOT interested in participating in a group buy. He said he builds these by himself and can barely keep up with demand as it is. So, looks like everyone is on their own. Sorry!
