2015 power wagon leveling kit
hey , does anyone know of a leveling kit for the new 2015 power wagon ?
Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
Same as '14's. Traxda and Ready Lift both offer kits with shock extensions.

Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
Anyone try this yet? I'm thinking about ordering next week. I just put a set of fuel boost +20s, with Nitto TG MTs, at full lock I still have almost an inch but full articulation it will probably rub.

I have contacted ready lift and they say due to the different long arm In the front on the pw and also that the pw has an additional 2" lift over the regular 2500 . when one of there leveling kits are installed on a pw , the truck no longer has enough caster to allow the truck to be aligned properly . Basically its like adding 4" of lift to a stock 2500 and trying to get the front end realigned . its just not going to work , it will bolt up fine and will function but your steering will be off left to right and ride quality poor and ruin your tires up front . this is why I have been posting on all sites with hope that some one some where are going to be making adjustable front arms , which would solve this issue .

Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
I dono. I dont buy that. The power wagon comes with a different radius arm design up front than the regular 2500's. I would have to assume the engineers designed the caster to be spot on at the power wagons ride height. So, it dont feel it is like lifting a stock truck 4" with a leveling kit on a power wagon... your still just adding a leveling kit to a redesigned suspension. Yes, it will obviously change the caster no doubt, but probably not enough for the truck to start wandering all over and driving like shit.2015powerwagon wrote:

There are a few people on here already with leveling kits on the new suspension. Hopefully they chime in with their opinions...

Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
Watching this one too---I can't seem to get a straight answer on what is required, and who makes it, to level the front end the right way on the newer suspensions. From what I've read on here, most of the folks with successful and proper level kits installed are on '13 and older PW's.

Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
Maybe check with the dealer to see if Mopar has a leveling kit for the Power Wagon. The only other thought I have is AEV who just put their lift on a 2015 Power Wagon (see the AEV Thread for a picture).

Yeah man good idea. I've been checking the MOPAR site for months, negative on the 14-15 aftermarket goodies aside from the standard all-fit stuff. Just being impatient, in all reality it's only been on the road since late summer, so I'll give it some time.04Ram2500Hemi wrote:Maybe check with the dealer to see if Mopar has a leveling kit for the Power Wagon. Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
Recently called just about every manufacture of leveling kits I could find and to date the only one was truxxx.ca that claim there 2" kit with shock extensions works well on the 2014 -2015 pw . they claim to have installed it on several truck with no issues link https://truxxx.ca/catalogsearch/result/?q=605040
it looks like every others manufactures kit they claim most brands just don't want to be responsible if there kit causes damage to the different pw suspension . I have ordered it up and going to get it installed here locally and take the truck in for a wheel alignment .

Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
The argument doesn't have much merit because caster doesn't cause tire wear. It will just either be harder to steer or it won't have as much return to center ability.2015powerwagon wrote:Timgco wrote:Same as '14's. Traxda and Ready Lift both offer kits with shock extensions.

They are all pretty much the same within reason... steel spacers with shock extensions. But, the truxxx one is 2" and the traxda is 1.5".adeluca73 wrote:Looks like the same kit previously posted at truxxx.ca

Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
ya all the kits look the same to me minus the 2" 1.5" or 2.5" kits
Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
An OEM PW does not need shock extensions! The PW has longer OEM shocks from the factory. The problem is that the after market folks just want to sell kits and could care less if you are a PW or not as after all it is just a very fancy Ram 2500 trim package. We as PW owners need to be very careful not to ruin our trucks by listening to idiots who have no clue what a PW is much less what works on it!

Will this work or not ? If you look at the compatibility it list the power wagon

Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
I had a levelling kit on a 1500. Never again! My 2015 fits 315/70/17 BFG AT's no rub, no problems, and I have the '15 wheels with some 35x12.5-17 BFG MT's for summer, so I'll report back as to how that fits! If I do anything, I'll try the AEV lift to keep the ride and handling of this truck. I'm really impressed by the ride. Hopefully they'll push the front axle ahead to clear 37" tires without needing to trim anything!

Re: 2015 power wagon leveling kit
You would think. But their execution of the PW suspension on the 05-12 trucks shows otherwise. Those trucks needed longer control arms (as well as stronger ones) to get the axle position correct with the additional height but they came with the same arms that were used on the non-PW trucks. I know that on the '14+ standard 2500's we are having trouble getting enough caster at 3" of lift over stock plus the increased angle on the radius arm can cause some slight steering issues during the suspension cycle. AEV has added radius arm drop brackets as well as steering and track bar correction to their 3" systems to gets things back in line with the factory geometry. I know that other companies are looking in to radius arm drops for the 3" height to avoid the caster issues.olyelr wrote:I dono. I dont buy that. Yes, it will obviously change the caster no doubt, but probably not enough for the truck to start wandering all over and driving like shit.2015powerwagon wrote:

Does that "articu-link" thingamajiggy on the new power wagons radius arms help anything out in comparison to the regular 2500-3500's that you know of? That thing kinda looks goofy to me.Skyd Ram wrote:
