Door Adjustment Question

The driver's door on my '07 has some wind noise and sits a just a tad lower than the rear door. I checked the hinge pins, bushings and hinges and they're solid. The seals are also in good shape. There's tons of info on the web about how to adjust the door by loosening the hinges, etc., so I think I can do it. What I can't find is the function of what appears to be some sort of threaded adjuster on the hinge bolt/stud (one on the top hinge and one on the bottom) on the door side of the hinge? Anyone know what I'm talkin about? Its like inside the stud that has a nut on it. Sorry for the poor description but I'm not sure how else to describe it. I'd post a pic if I knew how.

How many miles are on your truck? I know you state that the hinges/pins/bushings are solid but have you opened the door then picked up the bottom rear edge of it (move it up and down) to see how much play there really is?

Yep. Zero play. I adjusted it today and it seems to have worked. No more wind noise and door shuts nice and solid.

So they were built in adjustment nuts? Probably a crap ton easier than trying to loosen hinges and shimmy everything around hoping to get it right and not make it worse!
