Subtle things have you done to make your PW more unique

Post by 08TwinStickPW » Thu Oct 23, 2014 5:05 pm

We all know PW's are rare and unique as is, but what subltle things have you done to make yours even more unique compared to other PW's.

For me I added a 3 light marker from a Dually under the tailgate using all mopar parts, and I swapped my black HEMI fender badges for some 2013 red HEMI badges.

I have other things I did that make it mine, they are just not as subtle.

How about you guys
08' Dodge RAM PowerWagon (Laramie, 6 Speed)
GO: Diablo tuned, AEM drop in, Magnaflow "Y" and 24" muffler (dumper over the axle)
Traction/Suspension:305-70-17 Toyo AT2's, DT Profab Steering Brace, Carli front diff guard.
See: Silver stars headlights, 9012 fogs, reprogrammed for fogs with high beams, (2)6" KC LED gravity in driving/spread behind the grill
Tunes:Pioneer AVH-X5800BHS w/stock infinity amp, Infinity ref. dash/reardoor speakers, kappa component front door, JL rear stealth box and JX500.1d.
Other: Dually marker light under the tailgate, 2013+ Red hemi badges, Bedtred bedliner and mopar rubber mat, Wheel well liners, rubber flaps, Bakflip MX4, W2W Mopar steps (bedlined black), weathertech front mats and rain deflectors.

Not sure if it set's it apart or not but, getting ready to buy some rear wheel well liners after my last mud removal mission at the car wash. Area in front of rear tire was packed full of mud. Hoping the liners will minimize that mess next time out.
2005 Black Pow Wagon mods: DT Profab Steering Brace, Gibson superflow catback single exhaust system, Locker Bypass, Moog ball joints (see how long they last), New OEM track bar bushings, T-steering upgrade w/ Bilstein 5100 steering damper, Power everything, Heated leather seats, (keeps the better half happy), Rear window defrost, Bilstein 5100 shocks, 35x12.5x17 Toyo AT2 Extremes, Customized H2 alloy wheels, Original rock rails with family friendly steps welded on, Tri fold tonneau, Hi-lift extreme jack, Tool box along with all the essential PW gear. New winch cable, Winch TPS bypass, Cardan joint grease zerk discovery. New front grille assembly. Magnesium Chloride under coating.

If you ever happen to see me running somewhere, you should start running too. :)

I put tacky bumper stickers on the inside of my truck box lid, along with stickers from the manufacturers of products I've put on my truck. I think it adds character.

Lots of Line-X, LED lights behind the grill, LED lights cut into the rear bumper. I guess my signature says it best.

I added the satin chrome RAM door sill guards, and the RAM 2500 HEAVY DUTY chrome badges like the Laramie. It makes it just enough different w/o going overboard.

I like that antenna! I've been thinking of getting tge factory base and mounting my CB antenna to the drivers side fender to match but if I go a more traditional way I may have to get one of those.

Built a light bar from a wrecked grill guard with PIAA and KC lights(not quite subtle), added front and rear diff rock guards painted purple ,aluminum valve stem caps purple, Having a custom purple stripe for the hood made ( like on the SLT mines a Laramie), Changed the background color of the ram on the grill and tailgate from black to purple. All purple is similar to Mopar Plum Crazy paint. Added non-switched 12 volt outlet to interior for fridge/freezer. Added front camera and connectors to connect my camp trailers back up camera. Designed rock rails just have to get them welded together which I may have gotten done but it is Elk season. Took it in for service and all of the guys liked the subtle way the purple was used.
