New Power Wagon and digital mud
New Power Wagon and digital mud
I bought the white Power Wagon Saturday in Colorado, drove it home to Utah and spent Sunday pulling off the "digital mud. Started with a hair dryer on the drivers side and realized it was leaving a lot of thick adhesive on the truck.
On the passenger side, I just started slowly pulling it off w/o the hair dryer. left very little adhesive on the passenger side and was much easier to get off with remover. Looks much cleaner with just the word Power Wagon under the doors.
Can not figure out how to not have the radio come on when starting the truck.
About an hour from the dealer, trying to make it through the "Res" before dark, the toms light came on, lost the signal from the front right pressure sensor. would care about it except comes up on the screen first and is there when I change screens. looked underneath for something and and nothing obvious. Will eventually take it to a dealer for warranty fix.
Thanks for your patience people

Re: New Power Wagon and digital mud
Congrats on the PW! For the adhesive I use 3M Adhesive removal spray, and as far as the TPMS. Well getting ready for a never ending battle. I lost the first one on the test drive and another on the way home. The tech at the dealership said the 2014 sensors are junk and they have been having problems with them. And also they cannot adjust/lower the pressure settings anymore.

I like it much better without. I had the dealer remove all mine or I wasn't buying it. They complied.

Re: New Power Wagon and digital mud
I'm just not a huge fan of the flames, but I think it's good that everybody is a bit different. If I was buying a Power Wagon today it would be the Laramie, but then I'd add the graphics that are on my 2012 to the truck.adeluca73 wrote:Am I the only one diggin the rumbling rocks/flames/digital dirt/ etc on my PW? Re: New Power Wagon and digital mud
Welcome, nice PW! You can't have the radio come on first it was designed that way from the factory my 2007 is the same way.Garyrox wrote:Can not figure out how to not have the radio come on when starting the truck.
The 2014 tire pressure monitors have an know problem there is a technical service bulletin out on this issue the dealer should be able to replace it. You might want to ask if they can just replace all of them rather than one at a time as they go bad. Good luck.

The splash graphics were too flashy for me - so I ordered the Laramie. Dealer didn't share that there was a graphics delete option available.

New Power Wagon and digital mud
I ultimately took my PW labeling off because I was tired of the stupid questions, and the stupid comments outweighing the "nice truck," and intelligent questions.
I've actually come to like it more without them.
