Funny truck fail pictures

Post by bigblackdodge » Fri Jul 25, 2014 8:29 am

So I thought I would post a couple pictures I took the other day. I really find stuff like this funny. Maybe you guys have some to share

Here is a 1/2 ton ford with a giant winch bumper. Geeze that cable looks small doesn't it?........
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1406291220.809891.jpg

Aaaaaaaaand it's a winch for an atv.... Fail!!!
You should have seen the rake this truck had too. It was a regular f150. Love it!

I'm not 100% sure but that looks like a Raptor to me. Wrong bumper for that style of truck.

No raptor. It had raptor wheels and grill I think but it was a regular half ton.

If it was a rapturd, that would explain the major front end sag, with that bumper.

I can't read what the weight rating is on it, but it is a vantage style, so it's definitely an ATV winch because I got a Pro-Vantage S (S for synthetic rope) for my Rancher. What kind of moron would even waste the time putting that in there (assuming it's even wired up, may have just bolted it in there and wrapped the wires up in a ball)? You might as well of just ran a length of cable out the bumper to make it "look" like a winch to save some money until you could afford the real thing.

If it's a split-frame, why's the wheel in the air???

Because they only go so far. Unless you remove the stop. Then, :jawdrop: it can go all the way around !!! Dont think the wires, cables, brakes & fuel lines would like that though.

Must be a ghost bolder its going over then! Either that or the lock pins are stuck and not letting it rotate to level. Either way you can see they are more than just a little concerned about the wheel being up in the air!

If driveline torque wouldn't it twist the other direction?.

I'm thinking since it's downhill the suspension is unloading of sorts.

I believe that was top truck back in the late 90's early y2k's... I seen that thing in MOAB at EJS in '99 iirc.

It works but not always like it's supposed to.
