who and what is available in Louisiana

Gentlemen, the house is packed and I am heading to New Orleans in a few days after all the snow melts and the south is able to get back to work again

I will be doing a lot of fishing, but my question is. Is there any off roading trails near New Orleans that is not just mud riding?

No mostly mud down in LA. It rains all the time. I live in South Texas but work off shore in LA out of Cocodrie 14 on 14 off as a mechanic on natural gas compressors and Cat engines.

Cool. You got a job lined out? What field do you work in? Maybe we will meet up sometime.

I am working in Belle Chasse, still in the Marine Corps.

If you make it down my way let me know and we can do some fishing.

I will also be looking for someone to show me where the good hunting spots are for deer and duck. Any idea?

No no I get it. If you really break it down were glorified trash men. The "trash" is more hazardous than most but at the end of the day thats what were doing in regards to ordinace. Now IEDs...thats a different story.

Looking for a fishing partner to come down and help me catch these big boys... anyone interested? These reds are stacked up like sardines right now and one fish takes about 20 minutes to land. My arm is worn out by the end of the day.

I went on a couple of missions with you guys in Iraq and I agree that is another story in its self.

I was on one convoy with you guys when your turret gunner got hit by a sniper which turned into an ambush. That was about the highest pucker factor I have experienced to-date.

Do you remember his name. Cause I know a guy who has a very similar story. Eod is a small world, especially in the marines.

The EOD team that was with us was Army. I do not remember his name other than it began with a P and he was a SPC. I will have to try and look it up. It was late 2005 in Fallujah.
