Just ordered these in the 37x12.50x20 along with my rims, so we shall see how they do and how much I need to modify to clear them.

You will find the carcass is a bit wider than other tires same size. The 35" were a inch wider than other 12.5's and will rub a bit easier. I have the tire shop trying to deal directly with continental since apparently none have been shipped to Canada. So it's a waiting game. Pictures pictures!! When u get them

Well the cheap dude that has the 37" Ironmans can't give me any answers on getting them, I pretty much let him know if he doesn't find out something today, I'm going another route. So I called my usual tire guy and I'm probably going to go with a set of 35" Hankook MT's, for some reason the 37's are hard to get right now. After getting a price on the 37 Grabbers, no way I can swing that right now, plus he couldn't tell me when he could get those.

Every time you look at them you'll be constantly reminded you could/should have 37's on your truck.

What he said ^^^^^. I was able to find the 37's pretty easily. Maybe try calling around to other vendors that deal with hankook. 35's will get you by. But you would be goin backwards....

I know, I know, the 37 Hankook is nice, widths are the same, only an inch more ground clearance. I got a call back, I can get the 37's, they're $300 than the 35's...
I'm just wondering if the 37's tread is more open and bigger lugs.

Your Geolanders are the same size as 35" Toyo MT. The Hankook will probably give you more than 1" additional clearance.

I'm talking about 35 & 37 Hankook, not my old tires, which are taller than a 35 toyo BTW. Had them side by side.

I'm just wondering if the 37's tread is more open and bigger lugs.
21/32" tread depth on the 37 vs 20/32" on the 35. You gotta put your hands on a tire to really see how aggressive the lugs are cause at a distance it seems mild. They took top spot against a ton of other mud tires in fourwheelers mud tire shootout. They are awesome in deep snow And in really mucky slop. They dig and dig. Roll round and are not too loud. Damit I'm not trying to sell u the tire. Just get the damn thing in a 37. You will be happy. And the tread life is very good. Like 50-60k miles easily. At 9/32 they will still be more aggressive than your all terrains. I find they do not lose their traction or performance as they whittle down. Just when they hit 6/32 i toss em and get new ones. And keep the old ones as spares.

Just do it!!! :poke: :poke: :poke:

Don't you threaten me with a good time :D I've read a lot about the Kooks and see the specs, generally a taller tire has bigger lugs and more open voids between them. If there's no difference in this aspect between the two, only thing I'll really gain is a tad more ground clearance and slightly loose torque to the ground. The gas burner is going to notice 15 more pounds and more grip at each corner. But, I'm sure she wouldn't like it if I lost an inch neither

When I purchased my Hankook's, Discount Tire had them on back order. Took about 3 months, I think partly because they were hoping I would change my mind and cancel the sale (thanks to a computer glitch I got each tire cor $265). Unfortunately I have not had a chance to test them in mud, but they did surprisingly better in the sand than my BFG A/T. They are fairly quiet for an aggressive mud terrain but still have some wobble at 50mph to 60mph, but no where near as bad as when they were new.

I should have had you pick me up 2 sets while you were at it!!! Last set installed was $2100. $430 per tire. How are they wearing for you. The set I have on now is about has a little over half tread. Seems they get to almost half then stop wearing for awhile.

They are wearing great. Granted my mileage will never be as much as yours. I have put just about 10k miles in 2 years on the truck, tires probably only have about 5k on them.

I forgot you got the Hankooks. Good to hear they do good in sand, thats what I get the most and it's easy to sink down really fast.

I was surprised, i thought they would dig more and cause problems but all went well. Hoped to get back to the beach this weekend, but being Easter and me living so close to Mexico, the beach will be inundated with people.

Drove 2 1/2 hours to pick these up from the shipping terminal earlier after work instead of waiting until next Monday to have them delivered. Wanted them mounted and balanced this weekend. Measure about 36 1/2" tall and 12 1/2" wide, sidewall to sidewall, un-mounted of course.
